isnt it enough to say cos(a+b)=sin(a)cos(b)-cos(a)sin(b) for all real a and b? The second forumula says exactly the same if you allow a and b to be negative.

While I am not familiar with that exact exam, I would say get a hold of as many old exam question you can and keep practicing. Do old questions with no notes or examples, grade yourself, and redo or practice more problems on the concepts you missed. Get plenty of sleep, eat well, and have confidence in yourself. You are going to ace those exams!

integral of sec^5 x. That would certainly give them some work to do. It's an awesome integral with a hellish amount of algebra. Just make sure you tell them to verify the solution by differentiation. 🤣 You are without a doubt an awesome teacher. I have been subscribed for years and have really enjoyed your much valued work.
