Bummer it doesn't have the original seat. The seat is more coveted than the bike. Very nice bike though

@@vintagebikes3073 There is a serial number; either under the bottom bracket or rear dropouts, that number will tell you all you need to know; year month, day, and letters. You know what to do. Ask Gary Turner .

I own two Jekyll's. A 2001 Jekyll 2000 with a Lefty and a 2004 Jekyll 1000. Both have seen quite a few modern upgrades like brakes, drivetrain and other things.

1997 Avalanche based on Mavic rims and rear cantilever brake cable routing option. Someone covered the beautiful polished aluminum with that striking yellow paint.

I think I have this frame, bought it last year for 200 euro and had to replace most of the drivetrain after 1 season. It's an ex rental repainted frame that just looks exactly like this one. It's a decent bike at low-mid speed xc stuff but gets scary on the steep stuff. Good beginner bike imo, never had issues, even on small jumps.

Look up GT Talera, my brother has a blue one almost exactly like that, the same traingulated frame below/behind the seat Not sure the year though, cool bike he went from Petaluma CA area clear up to Kennewick WA on a bike tour with his!

Looking closer my brothers bike has a hard fork and your bike has front suspension, which appears to be a feature on some later models still dont have a year ballpark for you
