I’m so lonely. My ex wife keeps coming in and out of my life but won’t reconcile. All I want is my family together. I don’t want to be here anymore. I’m in constant pain so I drink to numb. I wish God would just take me.

not gonna lie bro, this message reached me at the right time. I've been struggling with an invisible disability, and not being able to tell people about it in fear of stigma is really hard. Sometimes I feel like Bruce Wayne, carrying this secret with me everywhere I go. The Lord is working in me to help me shift from isolation > solitude. There's a big difference and I'm happy I've begun the process. Since the summer started, I've dropped like 40 pounds and been fasting and praying and cutting out all that nasty filth on the internet completely. It's crazy, my biggest problem is completely internal. People on the outside can't see it, but I feel it every day. I'm doing way better than I was before, and I feel more confident in fighting feelings of shame dealing with my disability. I went from a high performer to someone that has a hard time explaining to people why I can't show up the way I want to. The power is completely out of my hands at this point. I have a STACKED medical team with doctors and therapy and it helps a lot. However, my life was disrupted entirely with my diagnoses. You words give me strength, I'm hitting the gym extra hard tomorrow. I like the way you preach man, you just got a new sub thanks for everything.

I struggled a lot with loneliness as a new Christian until I realized that EVERY TIME I felt alone or when I was literally alone, I called to God and He was ALWAYS present. In fact that is one way I know He exists! I can feel His presence! I call on Him and He answers. But He doesn’t shake the walls with an earthquake or blow things over with a windstorm. He whispers to me in His still, small voice. 🤫I just lean in and WAIT for the whisper!! What does a whisper sound like? It isn’t audible, it’s SPIRITUAL! Sitting down to read my Bible (even if I’m not in the mood) and focusing on a scripture or a couple of scriptures or a passage (a spontaneous little Bible study) I wait for His whisper. Suddenly I find myself remembering things from when I was first saved. THATS THE WHISPER! I repeat that whisper to myself, then I respond to the whisper and wait for a reply (getting deeper into study because HIS WORD IS TRUTH AND LIFE Eph 1:13). Then song lyrics come to me reminding me of how God pursued me. Suddenly I’m WORSHIPING HIM AND PRAISING HIM🙌😮🎶 and then I know He’s always been with me! In my heart waiting for me to come to Him so He could wake up my spirit! 🙌🥹 🎶”I love You Lord Oh Your mercy never fails me All my days I’ve been held in Your hands From the moment that I wake up Until I lay my head I will sing of the goodness of God🎶🥰AMEN!!🙌
