There will never be another morning radio show this informative and entertaining. Chuck, Imus, Bernard, Lou and the rest of the crew. This was it

This kids was the best morning show ever. Entertaining, funny and informative. Watching this brings me right back to 1996. It was a very sad time though when this plane exploded

I grew up in central Jersey in the late 70s and early 80s… then spent time at the submarine base in Groton, CT in the 90s. IMUS was my every morning. Even now I don’t turn on my radio in the morning without thinking of IMUS in the Morning. 💕💕💕💕

My dad watched him and thought he was good. I'm a tail-end-boomer and between Imus, George Carlin and Howard Stern we got so de-sensitized to this that it just wasn't new, funny or interesting anymore. I didn't want to grow up to be another grumbling old white dude.

God, I wish this bunch were still around. Can you imagine what the show would be like today? Biden doddering around, just trying to make it to January; Harris and what's-his-name (Walz?) scrambling to stuff a full campaign into 3 months, and farther left than anybody since FDR; self-aggrandizing, hperbolic Trump simultaneously running for a 2nd term and awaiting sentencing;... I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that, does it? The whole team couldn't get to HALF of the stuff that's ripe for parody and satire. These would be glory days for the show! None better.

The commercials in 1998…completely unrecognizable to the hideous, often offensive commercials of 2024.

Fred hired me to paint the signs for Auto Body Express in Santa Fe. Then about a year later Don & Deirdre bought a 2,500 acre ranch 40 miles east of here and that became their summer refuge for cancer-remission kids. I hand-lettered the whole place, Western style, and I painted very decorative stuff for Don for about 12 years. His brain was like a tape recorder and he would repeat every funny comment we shared back and forth. We had a lot of laughs. I didn't listen to him daily but I'd tune in just after we'd been together and sure enough Don would be talking about me for the next few days. He loved to tease, shock and scare people but I never blinked, I always fired back with something daring and twisted and that would become material to help fill those four hours of air time 5 days a week. Don was the best customer I ever had, and he was a cool dude to know.
