I was born in Glengoffe and left 50 odd years ago. But I think about it everyday.I am from the days of Miss Burke/ Mrs Oliver, Miss Tit/Sam, Curlew, policeman, Ben Cox, headmaster, Pastor Hemmings, Teacher Smith etc.

That area is known for vast amounts of bamboo. In fact, there is a district around there called Bamboo Ridge.

This is the first place my dad took me fishing i was 10 years old, thats over 30 years ago. We used to go often and fishing was great, its funny how small the dam seems now. Nice Vid
