They like to sell themselves as nice but they are not nice. Unfortunately I've lived for 10 years in Brussels now, which I really regret I can see how the negativity of this place has affected me. I've finally come to the decision to leave and stop my suffering all together. Unfortunately there is no community spirit, yes it's multicultural and multilingual but a lot of Belgians don't like that. They criticize each other and a lot of them reject foreign people, every one else who arrives is an enemy. It's a never ending story and in 10 years I have seen no improvements. I also lived in the UK for 15 years and it was much better there. British people had a real sense of humor and they were open to have conversations and to share a moment. I had to stay here for a while because of my daughter's schooling but we are finally living cannot stay here NO MORE! It's a lonely and miserable life. They really have to work on their community skills and communication and I really don't see the humour he is talking about, at least in public I don't see it.

I can't stand Julie O'Neill. Her voice makes my skin crawl. I was happy to see her leave WCPO. It was a kick in the teeth to see her back on the local TV scene at WXIX. Oh well, I won't have to be exposed to their sponsors. From where I see it, there's no room for Dan Wells and Lauren Minor with this attention hog wallowing in all her new mud. I wish Fox19 would realize their awful mistake and quickly send her packing. She did provide me with one good chuckle. She kept running her mouth needless. Amber Jayanth obviously had gotten frustrated by her overwhelming self sense of importance and just started reading while JN kept spewing. I guess I'm not the only one sick of her.

If Pete Rose didn't change at all and was a baseball player today four things would happen. 1) He would still be banned for life due to his gambling addiction. 2) He would be banned due to his admitted frequent use of PEDs (amphetamines) before and during games. 3) He would be suspended for intentionally running into catchers who were tagging him out. 4) He would be jailed for quite a while on federal charges for repeatedly taking a 14 year old on interstate trips and committing statutory rape while claiming that he "thought she looked like she was 16." As good as he was on the field, the man was a lying, cheating, gambling, predatory child molester that is and always will be a disgrace to the game.

@@DGlaky"Hustling" is dirty? I never realized that running out a ground ball or backing up your catcher is dirty...
@thenecessaryentrepreneur3 ай бұрын
A big reason for this is probably that players rely more on talent and athleticism. Also there is less incentive to hustle with injury risks and the existence of long term guaranteed contracts.
@thenecessaryentrepreneur3 ай бұрын
Hustling doesn’t necessarily equate to playing “dirty”. Hustling could just be running out every play, practicing fundamentals trying to get better. While some of the plays in that era can certainly be considered dangerous, it’s not directly correlated to hustling
@ronaldviens78622 ай бұрын
@@thenecessaryentrepreneur Pete was the guy who slid face first into home. And made it. Charlie Hustle got his name because when he took the field, every inning, he ran out to his position and played with a focus that was scary at times. Never gave up on the double play and could dig a throw from third up from the dirt to make the out at first, or jump a fair height to snag an errant throw from the infield. Pete Rose played every position except the battery. Hustle.

Shohei Ohtani is completely innocent. Just read the US attorney’s complaints…the evidence is out there!! If you still doubt Shohei that means you are lazy or just so mean that you always want to make people look bad! And that Pete Rose…what he’s been doing to Shohei is so vicious. It looks like he wants to drag Shohei down to the spiritually low level where Pete Rose is.

@@thenecessaryentrepreneur Why are you even talking about this? There is absolutely no similarities between the two. Rose admitted that he gambled on his team AND agreed to accept a permanent ban by MLB. MLB has not accused Ohtani of gambling on baseball. People just speculated he might have gambled on baseball without any evidence. That is just lame and irresponsible.
