I like to think there’s a Canadian listening to Pete Murray’s debut album and thinking that it’s an inversion of We Were Born In A Flame. The 2003 vibes are exactly the same on both albums, they just exist in parallel universes

This was my first intro to Sam Roberts Band, and admittedly, I did not take a liking to them for irrelevant reasons and for that, I apologize. I've since become a great fan and was quite pleased at their return to the ACL Fest in 2009.
