Thank you SO much for posting this special broadcast in full!💖 One of my favourites, Ginger Rogers is wonderful in here! 0:55🤗 3:15 "hello darling!" 5:53{the races} Her song IS SENSATIONAL! 6:29{Mary believes Ginger} 7:19 She wrote that one and, "Used To Be You" that was featured in, "Hollywood on Parade"{1932}, by Ginger herself, in a comedy skit with Jack Oakie. The tune came to her while taking a train back home.😌 That skit with lady Pickford and miss Rogers "helping" Caesar Romero is halarious! 15:15 I was just some "rolling" hills after that! Their laughter is just as infectious and I only laugh harder! 19:10 Ginger cannot take Mary seriously!😆 I couldn't either! 😂 19:57 "Oh why do you want to pick fights with me all the time?" {Ginger puts on a deep voice} "I don't, you pick fights with me."🤣

Does anyone know why Mary Pickford was not buried next to her husband buddy or why was Buddy not buried there why did he marry some other girl and get buried with her I'm so confused they were together for 40 years and then he goes and gets remarried and gets buried next to her did Mary not have a plan to have him join her in the family plot if anyone knows please get back to me

I love Mary and what she represents to the era that she came from. Still, I think that we all can agree that in spite of all the talk of god and goodness, it doesn’t escape anyone’s attention that only earthly riches (money) can get you buried here. Jesus himself could never have afforded such a place. And by the way….what on earth is “Religious SCIENCE” supposed to mean? One more thing: The narrator insists on saying “In-TEAR-ed” when eventually, we are all INTERRED. Not important really…unless you’re going to repeat it a dozen times.

I always loved her long hairstyle with her beautiful curls , but I always wondered what kind of cut she had , I mean was it all long or was it short in the front ? and longer in the back ? How did they manage to style her in that fashion ?Also what did she use to curl her hair like that ? 🤔🤔🤔

What a lovely tribute. It's a shame Jack's first wife Olive Thomas was not moved from New York and placed in one of the empty spaced.

My Aunt is buried there. She is at The Court of Freedom. Also Michael Jackson.

MJ is inside the great mausoleum holly terrace area inside a large distinguished sarcophagus . His dad Joe Jackson got buried in the court of freedom section a few years ago which I honestly find very strange because the Jackson’s own 12 crypts inside the great mausoleum. 4 caskets fit inside MJS sarcophagus including mjs casket and 4 wall crypts on each side of the sarcophagus . Unless the rumors about Joe treating MJ poorly are true I mean why else would Joe get denied a spot next to MJ makes no sense to me especially when there was available spots .

Such a beautiful tribute to Mary. The eulogy was absolutely touching!! Every detail discussed here is completely accurate. I am fortunate to have a grave in the Gardens of Memory myself.

Do you have to have family to be able to be interred at the garden of memories?
@johnsobe7 Жыл бұрын
@@frenchustube No. You just have to have a grave there and this area has been sold out for years. (P.S. The word is inter, not intern).

This was amazing. Thank you for all the added photos and commentary! It is funny to hear songs being sung this early when they were used again much later, like "Beyond the Blue Horizon" was an airline commercial when I was a little girl, and "I do, do you" was used in "Singing in the Rain". Loved learning that Alfred Newman is related to Randy Newman and they did the same job! Wonderful.

Such a good balance of the sentimental and the technical. I never knew how so many people could be interred in one statue area. What a lovely thing she did for her family and loved ones.
