Doesn't take serious money. 6.4 cam, valve springs, intake, headers and tune. Right there with a 6.4. Run 6.4 manifold cheap too if you want. The 5.7 0-60 isn't as far away as you make it the torque number is 410ft lbs vs 470 without any mods. 347 vs 389 isn't making it leave it in dust off the line.

I have lots of seat time in six speed cars with both these engines. The 6.4 pulls much harder than the 5.7. However, the 5.7 feels torquier on the street and has a much nicer sound. MUCH! In terms of mods, 5.7 can take more abuse, relatively speaking. But money can fix anything. Here in Canada, the $25k price difference isn't worth it to me. The small Hemi with a stick is the sweet spot.

I just went with the 5.7L because I dont plan on racing but I still like to have that v8 grunt its fun enough for me it looks good and sounds good as well

It happened to me also. I had a 2019 Bullitt mustang. I was getting an oil change during Covid. One thing that I've learned.. after you make a modification give yourself a week or so after running the vehicle let the car adjust to the mod. Straight away you'll never notice anything..
