can you do this to the bottom of the deck after using paint stripper to take the graphics off?? I found a board with the perfect dimensions but i dont like the graphic im thinking of stripping the paint off and using a ebony wood stain on the bottom then sealing it with a clear coat glaze.

What grit would you recommend to sand the top of my longboard after I remove the griptape? I don't have a sanding machine. I was thinking getting sanding block. First 60 grit, then 120, then 220. After sanding am I supposed to use wood finisher?
