Hoi, ondanks dat dit al een paar jaar geleden is. Is het antwoord: Koop een tweede simkaart van bijvoorbeeld Lebara voor 5 euro per maand. Heeft je auto dan een eigen telefoonnummer? Ja dat klopt. Maar dit is wel het goedkoopst

Hoi Sander, ik heb zo’ scherm gekocht via Aliexpress, heb hem proberen aan te sluiten maar hij werkte niet.. toen heb ik vervolgens mijn oude radio/scherm weer terug geplaatst maar nu werkt het scherm niet meer en ook het geluid van bijv. de richtingaanwijzers.. nu ben ik niet heel handig dus vroeg ik me af of u toevallig weet wat er aan de hand is.

Hey! Klinkt alsof je niet alle kabels terug hebt aangesloten. Voor dat scherm, daar zit een aparte speaker bij (zwart doosje) die je aan moet sluiten. Ik zou nog even goed kijken of je niks vergeten bent. Grote voordeel van de originele radio eruit halen is dat je genoeg werkruimte hebt om alle kabels aan te sluiten. Ze passen maar in 1 gat, dus dat moet goedkomen. Controleer ook of alle kabels erbij zitten, anders de verkoper contacteren en om hulp vragen! Zelf heb ik mijn auto 2 jaar geleden verkocht dus ik heb dit scherm niet meer. Succes en als je nog vragen hebt zal ik die proberen te beantwoorden.

I think so, i've sold my car over 2 years ago and im now driving a Mokka. If you need anwers, you should talk to the vendor of the unit, they are willing to help you out! hope this helps

Echt mijn tijd 😎 Toen kon het nog allemaal! Kon je als kind een pijpbeurt krijgen als je een wijfje een lolly en wat te drinken (Bijv. een Breezer) trakteerde! Ook een peuk opsteken op die leeftijd was geen probleem! Ook qua taalgebruik! Geen probleem... Werd niet moeilijk over gedaan! Schaars geklede vrouwen = Geen probleem 🤪 Ik kon op mijn 8e gewoon bier halen voor mijn pa en ook pakkie zware van Nelle shag! Sigaretten automaten stonden gewoon op onze scholen (Met name LTS = Lagere Technische School), voor een leuk cijfer: trakteerde je de praktijkdocent gewoon op een pakkie shag! Ik mis die tijd echt wel!

Hi Sander, what an amazing tutorial, thank you for that, just one question, I installed all cables, the steering wheel control is working perfectly, but the buttons from the old radio doesn’t work anymore, for example if I try to lower the volume from the button on dashboard, doesn’t works and the lights from the buttons doesn’t work Anymore, do you know how to fix it? are you getting a warning in the screen when you open the door? If not, u are missing a cable. Ask the vendor for this problem, and hopefully they will send you the right cable.

Yes I have all warnings when I open the door, my original radio from the dashboard doesn’t work anymore!

If you replace the original radio, you will loose all the functions of the orignal radio. so no more cd player and no more fm radio. FM radio is build into the radio, but i would suggest using an app like spotify, that's the whole reason I replaced it (and for Waze). If you are really a radiohead, there is an app for that too! :) For the console, it should work when the correct cables are installed. Don't know what to say more that can help, sorry.

Helpful, mostly for which canbus to select as the list is long. I have a Vauxhall, so the steering wheel is on the other side, when I removed the glovebox I had lots of room to guide the wire bundle to the left side and up, this way the cable was long enough. Also the bracket that gets mounted I made a big hole in the centre, this allowed much better access to route the cables to the back of the unit. I just left the little speaker with the gps antenna in the area behind the screen and everything seems to work fine.

Hoe het er mee is weet ik niet, ik heb ondertussen een Mokka. Altijd de laatste en snelste versie kopen, met de meeste RAM en geheugen. Anders is het traag en wil je de radio uit t raam gooien!

Hallo! Ik zou altijd voor het laaste model gaan met de meeste specs en ramgeheugen. Apps worden continue geupdate en anders werken ze over een tijdje niet meer met je android versie of worden zo traag dat je je radio uit het raam wil gooien!

Ik krijg die oude radio er voor geen mogelijkheid uit, die stekker van de airconditioning besturing zit echt vast. Enige tips om hem er uit te krijgen? Kan ik hem er denk je gewoon uit trekken? Snap het als je het vergeten bent of geen zin meer hebt om hier op te reageren.

Hey, natuurlijk wil ik reageren, ik weet niet of ik je kan helpen. Meestal gaan de stekkers los door een kleine platte schroevendraaier te gebruiken en dan dat achter het lipje te wippen. Helaas kan ik mij niet meer herinneren hoe ik dat toen gedaan heb. Maar, ik heb geen geweld gebruikt, dus goed kijken en dan moet het goedkomen!

Mooie en duidelijke video’s! Ik stel mijn vragen en even in het Nederlands 😉Ben je na een aantal jaar nog steeds tevreden met het scherm? Je gaf aan geen gebruik te maken van de verbinding met je telefoon om google maps ect te gebruiken, werkt dit niet goed of vind je hoe je dit nu hebt ingebouwd makkelijker? Kan je toevallig ook laten zien hoe je de 4g module ingebouwd hebt? (De plek voor de simkaart bij de versnellingspook)

Helaas heb ik mijn Astra twee jaar geleden verkocht, dus ik kan daar niets meer over zeggen. De 4g modulde was een losse usbstick die ik destijds gekocht had, waar een simkaart in zat. deze zorgde voor een wifi signaal.

wat heb je voor canbus type gekozen? ik heb een opel astra J uit 2010. Kachel is niet te bedienen via het touchscreen en krijgt van het canbus systeem ook geen informatie mbt toerental,snelheid,buiten temperatuur etc.

No everything worked fine! Like i said in the video, always buy the latest one. Radio reception was bad but I just used an app

In my case I had an usb WiFi dongle with a 4g sim in it. In my new system there is indeed a simcard slot. It only accepts big simcards so that's something to take into account. Ask the vendor for more information

My canbus settings is different, first I need pick canbus brand (simply soft) then finde make (no vauxhall unfortunately) I chose Opel and then model, but unfortunately there is no Mokka! I chose all other opel models! But nothing is working on climat control and stearing wheel 😢

If that's not working you need to connect the large orange cable like i did in the video. That fixed the problem for me. Original cable is too short.

Hello again Sand. I have one more doubt. On the harness that connects to the car's original 44 pin is a pink wire that terminates in a medium black 8 pin female connector. Do you have to connect it to the 8-pin male that was on the car's original screen? Is it connected to another site? Or you don't have to connect it. Thank you for your patience and greetings.

Hi, great video and all works great except it seems to forget all my presets overnight. Looks like it's all setup correctly but I'm gussing it doesn't have standby power overnight and then forgets the presets. Do they not have an internal battery. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hey, I'm sorry I don't have that problem. Mine keeps the settings. Maybe in the settings? Something like a standby mode that you have to activate. Otherwise ask the vendor.

My problem has been partially solved. The canbus version installed on the device is GM-RZ-09. I also tried compatible tools. When I chose Chevrolet Cruz, the buttons and lights worked.
