About 50% of the tabs for this song have it in the key of G (C# is the original tuning). Some people play it in Ab/G#, which is just G tuned up half a step. Really it works in any of those forms, as there is a lot of chord crossovers between C and G, which is why using software to shift it to G barely makes a difference. You wouldn't even know without the shift in voice frequency (not necessary for a shift to G). Even the drums are frequency shifted. Seems the app is way less than surgically precise.

Seen you at JOY MANOR Excellent show I am a bass player 40 plus yrs I am 57 ,been playing classic rock since 15 , play bass sunday worship, Not looking for to take anyone's place. If you could use an emergency fill in for whatever reason , I am close to Metro Airport, Gear , Ampeg V4B / HLF 6X10 Gibson T bird , Epi Exployer Believe or not this is what I use Sunday mornings I try to play and sound like the albums, If no need ,keep me in mind Plymouth Christian Fellowship Is where you can see me. At 10 am I have freedom in what I play , not typical beginner bass that the worship music has now
