The arcade version with 4:3 screen looks stretched af, looks better with the original aspect ratio (12:7) I've been playing it lately and I mostly prefer the Genesis version because it's the one that I grew up with, really great port given it was one of console's launch title back then!

@@GojiGuy I always use JP for any game, but no, world and jp are identical in gameplay. USA has one really weird glitch that during a room timeout you will last an extra second. Usually having your HP to 0 will result in an instant gameover, but only on US you can live at 0 hp and after 1 second you gameover. This has a really small advantage on floor 47 if you're scoring 15mil+

13 Million is my limit. I don't enjoy the game with this much luck! 16,000,000 needs floor 30 pendant (10%+12%) and floor 45 pendant (1/512). I made Super player TAS for 25 Million, do you have a discord?

Some thoughts: Dropping the chain in 3C? Dying in 3E? That's an oof and a yikes from me dawg. This mode gives you dick all for exp, that seems terrible. In Arcade I have basically maxed out Shot A by stage 5. The lock-on laser does loads of damage at least in arcade, maybe you could have leaned into it more here. 4C gives you max chains with blue, it's the only level that does this, so you gimped yourself just a tiny bit there. 4E getting the max chain is very impressive no matter the circumstances. Having a full charged sword during the midboss prevented you from getting it slightly earlier but still, good job. Maybe you would have had a slightly easier time of stage 6 if you learned to chain stage 5, it's an exp bonanza (and the mode-exclusive second half looked like it had a good opportunity in the beginning too). Overall big congrats, those final couple of bosses look like real pains in the ass. GG!

3E is where I ran out of disk space, and I got distracted by it... the chain drop was also quite bad. Story mode EXP works the same until lvl10. then it gets really slow. I agree on stage 4C, but I was going for safe strats, maybe that cost me 1 lvl up. Yeah, but after 45min I'm too afraid of stage 5 scoring.. haha Thanks for the comment!

I usually take the cannon for loop 2, but I was going for a scoring run this time. Sticking with knife makes stage 1 and 2 harder but has a better stage 4 boss.

@@baf__ ahah, intendo proprio il tipo di gioco, non ho idea di quanti shooters siano mai stati creati nel corso dei secoli, ma è incredibile come, nonostante nessuno di noi abbia giocato lo stesso gioco, portino tutti dei bei ricordi. Pensare ad un gioco del genere mi porta alla mente una di quelle console che si collegavano alle tv con i cavi rossi, gialli e bianchi, tempi semplici di quando si era bambini, tempi che difficilmente potranno essere rivissuti, lol

Play As Red Rabbit Kotomi (from "Rabio Lepus"): 1) Insert your coin(s) 2) Press and hold B+Start during all the following sequence. Now, at the character selection screen: 3) Press Down when the timer reaches 7 and when the nose of the plane points towards you. 4) Press Down when the timer reaches 5 and when the nose of the plane points towards you. 5) Press Down when the timer reaches 2 and when the nose of the plane points towards you. 6) Press Down when the timer reaches 0 and when the nose of the plane points towards you.
