Good video TY but... please read the directions first, drain housing before pulling cover as others have suggested. Also you should have lubed the new gasket with nice new clean oil instead of using dirty oil from the old filter. Yes, it's been filtered but any little speck of crud can ruin the new gasket seal. We ALL learn from our mistakes. 😢

Use the drain on the oil filter housing and you won't make a mess. You also put the o-ring on the wrong groove. You were one ring too high.

You should’ve pulled the plug before and screwing it.

Pull the pin and small plug on those filter cannisters to avoid spilling it all over the place. BEFORE unscrewing it. But thanks for posting the socket sizes, that's why I came here.

hmmm. Looks like you put the gasket on the wrong level. Also -- you can take out the cotter pin and drain the filter through that tube much more cleanly than unscrewing it all and spilling. Check out the other videos on the Venue oil change.
