Just had Rhinear today. 1/8/2025. About 8 hrs ago. Is it common to have a stuffy nose and a runny nose S at the same time. . I am also taking methylprednisone for inflammation. About how long for my running nose stops. It wasn’t like that before. It’s almost like I feel like I have a cold.. I’m assuming that goes away?

DR. Thurston has been my Dr. for the past 8 years. I am age 63 and have been active in sports my entire life, and also served in the military for 25 years. DR. Thurston has been able to help me with my injuries so that I can either get back into the gym, or return to normal manual home activities. DR. Thurston and his staff are all amazing and really care. DR. Thurston really listens to me and takes the time to understand my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Thurston for sports and other soft tissue injuries!!

Has anyone made rhinaer? I had the procedure done for chronic post nasal drip, I'm 15 days into my surgery and my nose just feels slightly dry, is this the whole result or should I wait more weeks?

I struggled for some 20 years with conventional heating aids but last month an audiologist angel went back to square one and did more thorough testing and decided my hearing loss was mixed but more conductive than nerve damage and put on a tester bone conduction device and immediately transformed my life for the better. I can now hear people and can be myself again and not some crushed hiding person. I believe that about 10% of hearing loss patients are primarily due to conductive hearing loss and I think many more would benefit but these devices and procedures are not cheap. I live in Scotland where we have the NHS which means free treatment. I’m lucky. Imagine in America you have to be wealthy or have insurance. Seeing audiologist in 2 weeks and hoping will get abutment or magnet in near future. Think would like magnet . I really did nearly cry when that device was put on my head. I could have spent rest of life ignorant of this cure. To cap it all I am a retired General Ptactitioner ( General Medicsl Physician) and I was totally ignorant of this type of hearing aid.

I'm confused, I have bone conduction hearing loss, I was told when I get an OSIA. The Doctor explained that the OSIA will conduct sound that my cochlear on my bad side will pick up the sound conduction through the bone. This will be bypassing my damaged ear drum and ossicular bone chain. what is being said in this video is that the good ear picks up the conduction and transfers it as hearing in both ears. I don't completely understand

Thinking about getting this procedure done. You guys seem knowledgeable..got a question. Ive had over active sinuses since i was a kid. I can control my allergies and get my sinuses clear by rinsing/decongestants, but I cant solve my pnd issue that's always running down the back of my throat 24/7. Would I be an ideal RhinAer candidate? I don't understand it.. I can prevent sinus infections, no sneezing, minimal running nose..why do I still have constant pnd

watching this is making me so excited! I’m getting my middle ear implant surgery on the 26th March and the thought of actually hearing something is so exciting. I’m profoundly deaf in my left ear and got mild hearing loss in my right ear. I’ve trialled hearing aids (my right aid works, left one does nothing really), tried bi-CROS hearing aids which gave me bad migraines but so excited now to get this!
