I admire her music but my god, Joni is a major asshole to have written this scurrilous slander against Jackson Browne. Here is a statement made by Lt. John Miehle of the Santa Monica Police Department in November 1992: The Santa Monica Police Department went to the house where Jackson Browne lives regarding a possible disturbance. This is a prime example of how open Karen was to exploring different sounds complimentary to the time this song was originally recorded. It's a shame that it wasn't released during her lifetime . I feel that Richard and others sabotaged her ability to show her diversity.
