I don't think it's quite in a million chance. It would be if your item discovery was at 100. Even with the best item discovery (which you don't have, you would need golden coin and another crystal rapier) it would be 1/170000 chance which is absurdly rare. Anyway, I'm pissed it took me 5 hours to get all the 30 proofs.

My first victory against Promised Consort Radahn! My first Elden Ring playthrough was a Tree Sentinel cosplay build with Golden Halberd, so I'm sticking with that for the DLC as well. This boss was amazing, but extremely difficult. Had to respec to give myself more vigor, if you miss just one dodge slightly in phase 2, you can get staggered by the holy attacks and get killed instantly, it's pretty rough. He does a ton of damage, I can see a lot of players struggling on this one when they get to him.

Scadutree Fragment upgrades boost all damage negation a little bit each time you upgrade and I've upgraded that several times, I also have 2 defense talismans on, one for fire damage negation and the other is for physical damage negation.

@@Elevate388 I had mine upgraded to 11 at the time, had a physical negation and fire damage negation the greatshield ones. I had golden boost and even had your armor. Yet he still did insane damage. I was level 125 and had 40 vigor

The 40 vigor definitely explains the damage. Try to get it to 50 and things may be slightly better... Or not this DLC is hard as hell 😅

@@AngryOwl007 Yeah 40 vigor would be why, try to get vigor up to 60. I'm at the end game of the DLC, no spoilers on the bosses but the end game bosses will wreck you even with 60 vigor. This one boss I'm on at the moment is ridiculous and just deletes your health, and with all the scadutree upgrades I have, damage negation is at like 75% and I'm still getting wrecked lol. Messmer sadly feels like a cakewalk compared to this boss I'm currently on and that's scary to say.

My first victory against Messmer The Impaler (LOVE THIS FIGHT) My first playthrough of Elden Ring was with Golden Halberd, so I continued that for my first full playthrough of Shadow of the Erdtree. 2nd phase was pretty sloppy, lots of panic rolling, this was my 2nd time getting to phase 2 so I was still learning his attacks and didn't know what was happening.

I did make the final fight Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear, but it's just 1, not dual wielding lol. Only because I didn't want to have to go up to NG+2 just for 1 fight but I did have to go into NG+ to fight him again with his weapon.

If fists only worked the way it does in Dark Souls 3 I would, but fists only in Elden RIng does so little damage it would be hours of a fight. I do have a Level 1 Mohg fight on the channel with an unupgraded dagger +0 and that took about 20 minutes even with frost on the dagger.

I started a rl1 run the other day, and on top of that I challenged myself to only use hammer weapons.... Bro it's fucking EASY. I just killed morgott today after 8 tries and very little in the way of buffs, just using a lightning Hammer. Wish me luck with the rest of the game - sick kill btw, jump attacks OP

I think I asked this already on some video, or another person that does a daily bus run. But how do you save your save (lol) so you can fight the same boss over and over again?

I play on PS5, I upload a save to the cloud and turn off the auto sync for cloud saves. That way after I beat Mohg I can just redownload the save I made before the boss and beat him again with a different weapon.

Mohg is resistant to fire so Blasphemous Blade isn't a good match up for this particular fight which is why it seems underpowered.
