Nanaimo still has lots of left over tailings in so many places

Very cool footage, thanks for the posting as it was quite informative about the destruction left over from the coal baron's profits.

Good point and I agree with you on restoring vehicles. What I was referring to is vandalism and complete disregard for the delicate nature of these vehicles. Thanks for your comment

Hello, what phone mount are you using? Thanks
@bobell693 жыл бұрын
I use the mount that is on the Rize web site. I ordered it at the same time as my Rize X
@mikebattista61833 жыл бұрын
Just preordered a Rize X and learning. On that type of terrain what tire pressure did you use?
@bobell693 жыл бұрын
Ten pounds pressure was quite effective, but 20 worked ok, not as good but not bad. Riding on the soft beach showever was not
@bobell693 жыл бұрын
Continued…..As effective at 20. Five would have been better

Thanks for the great video. It looks like someone has put a lot of work into making this a very nice trail. Where is the start of the new trail?
@bobell693 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind remarks. The trail starts about 75 metres before the end of the main bottom trail.
@robgraham34773 жыл бұрын
@@bobell69 Great Thanks, I'll have to try it out this week. Is this the trial that comes out at the McLeod overpass?
@bobell693 жыл бұрын
@@robgraham3477 The trail branches just above where the bottom trail ends. The upper Branch takes you to the top of the ridge. I don't think that trail goes all the way up the creek to the overpass. I have walked it and it seems to go in a bit of a circle ending at the clear cut at the end of Musgrave Rd.
@robgraham34773 жыл бұрын
@@bobell69 Thanks, there is a trail that goes from the overpass to the powerline then down across Murray and down to that clear cut on Musgrave. I am just not sure if the part from Murray to the clear cut is still good to go as someone has purchased the property on Murray and is developing it.

Not sure of the new owner. The site was used for log sorting and has now been converted to dismantle old barges. This is the first ship to arrive at the site. It will be interesting to watch what happens to it.
