She took a cold and left him, and drove away the cold November rain What once was so strongly I was broken she would never go back to you reserves again She followed that old highway, ask them cold a little dropped to let to snow She pulled into the roads our cryin with a broken heart not knowing where to go And the rain kept falling down, the rain kept falling down And the rain kept falling down When is all the works has broken ? When is your hopes gone and know that scratch the pain When is your heart turns broken They feels like cold november rain

Verse 1 She took a cold and then she left him And drove away in that cold November rain What once was so strong now is broken And she would never go back to his arms again She followed that old highway As them cold November drops turned into snow She pulled onto the roadside crying With a broken heart not knowing where to go Chorus And the rain kept falling down The rain kept falling down And the rain kept falling down When all the words have been spoken When all hope is gone and all that’s left is pain When your heart turns to broken Then it feels like A cold November rain Verse 2 She thought of everything that happened No matter how she tried she could not let it go For eight devoted years she loved him She was deceived by that heart she thought loved her so Chorus And the rain kept falling down The rain kept falling down And the rain kept falling down When all the words have been spoken When all hope is gone and all that’s left is pain When your heart turns to broken Then it feels like A cold November rain Chorus And the rain kept falling down The rain kept falling down And the rain kept falling down When all the words have been spoken When all hope is gone and all that’s left is pain When your heart turns to broken Then it feels like A cold November rain

The tall blonde singer is Eva Cassidy, a singer of prodigious ability for her brief 33 year life.
@sellammar1

No its not Eva Cassidy. Its a Swedish singer named Ylva Ericsson. She is one part of a Swedish Americana duo called " Good Havest" the other part Hanna Enlöf stands next to her. with the guitar. They are supported by another Swedish band called " Downhill Bluegrass Band"

[James Dylan Dean] I agree on the tempo. I think that I recognize four members of this band from the video 'Bury Me Under The Willow Tree.' Evidently they use different lead singers, as in the one 'Orphan Girl.' Nice idea, gives them a distinctive sound on each song that they do. Wonderful group newly on KZbin.

Thank you! And yes, we collaborate with different artists in different projects, but the main band is Downhill Bluegrass Band and we have been active for almost 25 years now and during that time we have also had different musicians in the band

@@DownhillBluegrassBand [James Dylan Dean] Active for 25 years, but very new on KZbin. I love it when I find groups that I love on KZbin, like: The Cleverlys; Hayde Blue Grass Orchestra; Box Car Girls; Gillian and Dave; and now you. A wonderful series of gifts to an old man.

[James Dylan Dean] Blue Grass is sprouting all around the world. I think because it resembles the native music of these lands and propounds things that they can understand and relate to. This one is evidently by a Swedish group singing a Gillian Welch song. Marvelously done, too.
