Love how they immediately started to sweat inside when installed 🤣🤣 those depo headlights are so terrible when it comes to stay dry inside

@@BombShock92 yes, they do suffer with that, mine have been ok, however a few people advise to take them apart and seal them again to make sure.

If I remember right I bought some 2 pin connectors off Amazon, you can just solder/crimp the wires together, but I opted for connectors so they can be disconnected easily if needed.

As you adjust the tension, there is a pointer that will rotate. You line this up centrally between two marks.

Awh the area of rust at the rear sills. I had this exact thing happen on my 350z. They all rust there. Youre like "thats not too bad" 1 wire wheel later...."its pretty bad". I ended up sending mine away to be welded. And pretty much replaced that whole little section on each side.😅

Well done good job pall, only one thing, always change water pump and idler pulleys when doing a timing belt is strongly advise.

Mine went at 90k, luckily was parked up but clutch to the floor, you can actually bump start it into 1st or 2nd gear, I drove it the garage at high revs.

Sadly fitted all mine, wired the reverse camera goes to test it and no power on the unit getting a multi meter to check the wires but no clue what else to try. I have a 2008 freelander 2 I’ve used the red iso wiring for the back of the unit I don’t have the fibreoptics in mine as I only had the cubby hole before but cheers for the video

I had to take my wheel arch liner out and there is a little adjustment wheel thing on the back.

Cheers a very helpful video as i have a sunroof leak probably the drain ports blocked (easy fix) OR broken snapped off or drain tubes detatched hope not, will need the headliner removed to do repair on the broken parts. If anyone has done this repair before please let me know

They are off ebay, not brilliant fitment to be honest, and they dont tuck all the way underneath and bolt where the OEM ones do, i did have the same ones but from another company that did bolt underneath. So to make it all secure 100% i had the black side diffusers and fixed them to the skirts to make 1 complete unit, if that makes sense.

Good stuff! I can't quite figure out why the flywheel needs to be locked twice, with the pin and also one in the flywheel teeth? Maybe tightening the crank pully can bend the flywheel pin alone?

The timing pin won't survive the torque needed to tighten the crankshaft bolt.

I got some 2 pin connectors off amazon to make a connection, saves crimping wires together everytime i removed the bumper, for now i wired them to the sidelight wire to the headlights.

Nope, wouldnt of been too much trouble if I did need to change it, and the Frrelander is still running without any issues with the water pump, however for anyone that doesnt know how to change it, then it makes sense to have it done at the same time.

@@VarleyRebuilds Still have the Freelander 1 td4. Have it for 15jrs now. 375K km. 2002. If you do the maintenance yourself it's ok. Here in the Netherlands Freelanders are getting rare.
