La min 15:25 unul din gasca noastra a urcat prin stanga sa taie serpentinele doar ca mai sus este un sant la abordat gresit si s-a dat peste cap de 4 ori cu masina. Norocul a fost ca s-a turtit plafonul si masina s-a oprit. 3 persoane ranite si nici unul nu purta centura

Foarte fain traseul. Sunt curios, cat de mult e de parcurs? Nu de altceva dar as vrea sa-l parcurg si eu.. am un patrol y61 si ma gandesc daca sa imi iau o canistra de 20 de litri cu mine :)))

Ca distanta nu e foarte mult, aprox 47 km din Valea Macesului si pana in Transalpina. Ca timp, il poti face in 3-4 ore in functie de cate opriri faci pentru poze.

Salut, de coborat tot pe acelasi traseu ai coborat? Pe mine ma intereseaza portiunea de la cabana catre curmatura Vidrutei, care mai urca pana pe la 2000 m apoi coboara pe DN7A. Vad ca google maps a pus si portiunea asta ca si optiune (link-ul ce am dat la @geospir87) deci ar fi posibil. Ramane de explorat, daca pot sa conving vreun prieten sa fim macar cu 2 masini. Ori continuarea pana la Transalpina 67C

Salut! Noi am facut tot traseul pana in Transalpina, am coborat pe la Ranca si dupa aia am mers spre casa pe asfalt. Coborarea spre Curmatura Vidrutei e una destul de batuta, deci poti sa o folosesti cu incredere.

Apreciez feedbackul. Nu am gasit inca reteta perfecta, stiu asta si e in lucru. Nu pot lasa sunetul ambiental pt ca uneori uneori ascult muzica pt care nu am drept de copyright, dicutam chestii personale prin statii, sau ne mai scapa cate o injuratura :) Daca e o piesa mai enervanta ca altele, spune-mi care si o voi scoate.

Why did you shift before the turn? Keep it high in 3rd around a turn like that, throttle only, you’ll get the hang of it!

The bump unsettled the car and the driver failed to predict that it could go into oversteer. Should have reduced wheel input already when hitting the bump

I’ve witnessed a friend lose a lower leg from (just below the knee and below.). From s2000 snap over steer. This was nearly 20 years ago. It was an auto x driver class or event. S2000 oversteered then tracked straight into spectator crowd. My buddy was facing someone, away from the course and s2000 plowed into him. He went into shock and was screaming in agony begging for the pain to go away. Foot dangled by the skin only. He lost memory of this, and just remembers talking to someone and then waking up at hospital after amputation.

Another reason I don't like rwd, especially in a light car you go to hard it under steers then the rear kicks the fuck out way too much. Fwd is more predictable if you lose traction, you can't turn so you just lay off the throttle and let it grip again or smash the accelerator to try recorrect with force. The rear does not like to hang out on fwd as well, so the ability to snap back into line is great in them, fwd go hard on dirt, they put all that together with less traction so the rear can hang out more on turns yet you still have control to bring it back. Heavily underrated drive train imo

Nah, it depends on car. Some rwd cars are really stable and vice versa some fwd cars can be unstable too

@@kotarojujo2737 I second this. A well-setup FWD track-car will rotate (somewhat gently) on corner entry. go watch a video of professional touring car race that has FWD cars.

In a FWD car you pray for it to gain traction again, where in RWD you can controll it if you are skilled enough.

wow. lmao. there was 0 SNAP oversteer whatsoever here. this was just natural power oversteer with improper/too slow of an oversteer correction input response. moreover, that downshift with no heeltoe/revmatch is deplorable. straight newb driving smfhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. you're going to crash the car without knowing how to revmatch/heeltoe on a downshift one day

The AP1 S2000 is notorious for this due to its front mid-engine layout and rear suspension design. The AP2, especially the later models were much easier to drive.
