"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law" (First Corinthians 14:34 KJV). "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence" (First Timothy 2:11-12 KJV). Given these Scriptures, why are women serving as preachers and pastors and other officers in denominational churches? It is a flagrant violation of the Scriptures. As Jesus said... "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matthew 15:9 KJV).
