Smaller lobbies? This game should have something implemented so that a game cant start unless its almost full. The amount of empty raids i have had in the past month is insane. I would rather wait 10-15 minutes and get a full raid rather than an empty one.

One thing you should consider Is that a Lot of the players who are on pve don't even play during mid or late wipe, I usually only 3 months of a wipe or until I reach Max traders and hideout. I move to other games after that.

"You should just expect PVP encounters" I disagree entirely. The first time I tried the closed beta, in what, 2017-2018?, there was no forced PVP. Not even knowing whether there were other players in your game or not was a big part of the immersion. When there was PVP fights, it was extremely fun, even if you died. Tarkov PVP now is completely boring and predictable. "ok we spawned here, which means over there and over there will be players, lucky i got my meta build on"

Mans crying over hackers thinking sui is a viable option lol. Tarkov is literally just Hack V Hack, if you're trying to play without cheating find another game, that's not how Tarkov is played. You should complain about the devs who can't figure out anti-cheat or their game. BSG are scum, fairly simple. Cheaters are a scapegoat for the real issue.

As a guy that has cheated in some games but not to the extreme (using aimbot and so on) I can say in some cases cheats can save your sanity. I mostly play games that require some grinding to get things done and it's annoying when you find someone cheating that is griefing you or is a sweaty tryhard that is toxic and ruins game just because of satisfaction od kd ratio. That is the only reason why I used cheats. Mainly to avoid those people by using esp and grind in peace and save hours. Now it's rare for me to use cheats but certain mmorpg russian game that I play currently makes me so insane that makes me rethink why I stopped cheating.

You can hate cheaters all you like. But I wouldn't propose to cease existence though. I don't care about the cheaters, but KZbin is going to spank you one day if you keep saying it, even this once might already be too much if they find out. And if some random person who saw your video goes through with it and their family finds out, regardless of whether or not it was motivated by the video, you'll have problems far bigger than whatever KZbin can throw at you. If you only ever have one config then obviously it gets boring pretty fast, so I instead have different cheat methods for different playthroughs. For example on one of them I have radar and instant skills and all of that, and in another i have 20% damage multiplier but no radar. Compass is also very useful for noob players like me, it allows you to learn where the quests and extracts are (I already know the main extracts for maps like labs and factory) and I've also gotten pretty far down the quest lines for prapor and skier

I play a handful of games that various levels of hacks/cheats exist in and I am hyper aware of. Hunt: Showdown and Dark & Darker have literal $5 ESP/Walls anyone can get with a google search. Games full of cheaters kill the games, if you are a cheater you are killing the game. I have met people in MMOs that are open about being cheaters in FPS games, the thing I hear that confuses me the most is that it becomes like a "community" to them, they hang out in their little Discords and have to get a sick screenshot of the postgame scoreboard and get a bunch of reacts on it to feel anything. It's sad but I harbor more anger than pity for them.

Whining proclamations such as this be the very reason they resort to deceit; thou hast played into their hands most perfectly. Thou hast uttered naught that hath not been spoken a myriad of times; 'tis time to move on and let Tarkov meet the slow demise it so rightly deserveth.

I hate losing and I don't want anyone to feel that sense of superiority over me after beating me. It's absolutely infuriating to know that there is a better player than myself that I can never be better than. I can however ruin their fun. I am no cheater and have never cheated, but I routinely teamtroll or teamkill good players and then I instantly leave the lobby so that they won't report me. If I would cheat, then only to ruin the fun of gifted gamers. I can't stand people in general that have won the genetic lottery. looks, iq, whatever the trait's they were lucky enough the be born with. And I enjoy seeing these people frustrated.

This billion dollar industry is suffering badly from cheaters. Game studios simply can't keep the cheaters out. The only solution is to get some help from the government. Make cheating in games fraudulent and punishable by law and demand KYC from gamers. Since there is no technical way to stop people from cheating then we need to start scaring cheaters with jail time to make them stop. I know and I understand that cheaters don't think this is a big issue, but it is. This industry and it's customers need help sorting this out.

i think a clear identifier of cheaters would be a solid start, I've played with people ive ended up thinking were cheating and mysteriously stopped playing... imagine a system and invalidates the loot, kills and xp from any raid you played with a cheater in, would stop closet cheaters very quickly, they get banned and their friends knowing or unknowingly get punished also, a system notification telling the "friends" of that cheaters username, dates you were in raid with them and a warning 1 of 3, if you're found playing with cheaters, boom 3 strikes and you're out, now the closet cheaters will have no choice to either stop playing, play solo or risk the embarrassment of being caught, and the people knowingly playing with cheaters wouldn't want to due to fear of losing their account, ontop of that add a system in game (global insurance) any time a cheater gets banned their effect on the world is removed, all deaths from a cheater removed of the players they've killed, any gear lost from those deaths returned to the players and then or good measure add a wall of shame every user caught cheating gets posted to with any twitch accounts that are also linked to them made viewable. problem is bsg is so lazy that people think this is impossible but its actually very basic player tracking and wouldn't be hard to implement

Subscription model wouldn't help, cheaters are already doing RMT runs, they already get enough money for new accounts, all the sub model does is force every other normal player to pay out of their non cheated earnings

The AI in tarkov is easily one of the worst parts of the game why an earth would anyone choose to play PVE it just turns the game into cookie clicker

I've been playing this game since 2019 and I'm just saying cheaters are bad in eft, saying that's its a occasional cheater is a wild take, this wipe in particular has been the worst when it came to cheating almost every single lobby I was in there was at least 1 cheater that was blatant, if you do not believe the cheating problem is bad then I suggest you buy esp for a day and just go spectate lobby's because I guarantee you wont get banned and I promise you will see a lot of cheaters. maybe not as much now since wipe is almost over but I promise you will see cheaters.

im familiar with tarkov so ill drop my 2 cents, i love guns, i love gear, i have passions for both of these things, the reason i never started playing tarkov is precisely because i knew id get burnt out having to fight against people with multiple thousands of hours and lose all my good shit right away, on one hand this is technically the point of the game as an extraction looter shooter, but at the same time with how hardcore this is the game itself is going to have a hard time surviving, it will get a core center of people who play it for 10s of thousands of hours but it will face a massive issue where the playerbase begins dwindling into maybe a few hundred players, tarkov like many other games suffers from a meta problem, certain players want nothing else then to get as many kills as easily as possible, this leads to the entry level getting beaten down and subsequently pushed out more and more as time progresses, THIS CAN KILL A GAME, this has many times over destroyed entire games with what was once thought to be dedicated fanbases, a great example of this is Elite Dangerous, a space sandbox sim with a very vast engineering capability for ships, the problem is for combat you have to do a ton of engineering and it ends up breaking your ships capabilities when it comes to fighting non or minimally engineered vessels, this means even experienced players would get instakilled by players who do nothing but play for PvP, so if youre an explorer, or a miner, or you just like doing PvE bounties youd never play in open play (the selection option for playing with other people present in game) youd always play solo or private, meaning the overall interaction between players in the playerbase slowly dwindled since explorers and miners would spend literal hundreds of hours sometimes grinding only to be killed by a guy who just sits in a star system interdicting defenseless ships and killing them just because he can

Cheaters is one thing, but campers and lame players are horrible, i don't think pve players will miss getting oneshot by a bush or run down by a trio. Late wipe raids made me stop playing completely, people stopped looting, just sitting around waiting for each other in a bush or near a loot place.

I would watch one of my friends cheat in tarkov, and seeing how many cheaters he would find or how many dead lobby's with 1 other player in them was very surprising. He got a couple of accounts banned but he would only get banned once he full blatant hacker mode. Otherwise its really easy to hide and he hasn't gotten banned since. Also I've never gotten to the end game missions before, so pve never wiping is a nice for that.
