But now I know the truth, there are pro life Democrats but the Knights of Columbus from my council don’t see it that way.

I am a Fourth-Degree member and the Outside Guard of Council # 9884. I joined the Order to help grow in my Catholic faith and because I believe that it will play an instrumental role in my future because I cannot stand against the evils of the secular world by myself and the Order is the strong right arm of the Church as it performs countless acts of charity and it spreads the teachings of the Church. It stood against the Calles regime during the Cristero War and it stood against the Ku Klux Klan during the Jim Crow period with prayer and arms when it was necessary. I intend to study for the Deaconate and possibly a priest in my later years.

And at my Catholic church, i have 2 positions to help out during the daily mass. Altar serving and being a lector. Sometimes I'm a altar server or being a lector.

The first time i joined the Knights of Columbus, i was nervous and had doubts about doing it but it helped me improve my Catholic faith. And last year in November. Me, my uncle and cousin got promoted to 4th degree Knights. In case if anyone's curious what's the council name. It's the Saint Brigid council West Hartford CT. And i have friends who are Catholic but they never heard of the Knights. So i do what i can to inspire them. Even on face book. The assembly number is 3000.
