when truing lateral runout always loosen the spokes opposite those you tighten. otherwise you will end up with square wheels. work in groups of four.

А мы в детстве плоскогупцами подгибали спицы , чтобы не проткнуть камеру натяжкой ключем, хоть в ободах и была выемка и резиновая лента прокладка, все равно спицы протыкали камеру, поэтому было проще подогнуть нужные спицы. Думаю в СССР многие так делали?
