Do you take on foreign students? I’m from Australia but very interested in learning how to make qipao in the traditional way! There are not many resources on Chinese hand sewing in English :(

Such a beautiful dress! I love that fabric! I'm attempting to sew a dress inspired by a qipao. This pattern would be perfect. I do wish you had English subtitles, but I'll find a way.

It's beautiful! I noticed that you hand sewed the entire dress. Is it easier to hand sew than using the sewing machine?

yes, hand sew is easier to control the fabric, most qipao fabric is silk, machine sewing have more chance to damage the fabric.
