Serdar abi öncelikle eline sağlık. Sence böyle bi tekne yapsam güzel havalarda dalga olmadığında boğazda kullanılır mı sence?
@serdarbas8016Күн бұрын

Interesting project I thought to myself! But then I saw you make the steam-bended and laminated parts (in vid #1) using cheap ass PLASTIC quick-clamps and I immediately lost my interest, as you could see the big gaps in the laminate when "finished". Why dont ppl learn how to glue with proper technique and PRESSURE!?
@serdarbas80162 күн бұрын
You are absolutely correct. Lamination with clamps (any clamps) is not the correct method. It will lead gaps between laminations due to pressure differences. I also don't like steaming large pieces anymore as it increase humidity and sandwiched and epoxied laminations will have the water trapped. Why I did it? Because I'm an amateur boat builder and I'm learning while building. If watch my video (second part) very same transom piece that I used clamps originally is now laminated with vacuuming on it's final layer. I didn't knew what is vacuuming 8 months ago. This is not a "how to" video. This is my journey of learning how to build a boat. If I could start over, I would do 100 things differently.

@@serdarbas8016 I see! Thanks for taking time to reply :) Im impressed you wandered out into such a big project with reduced knowledge of boatbuilding. It must be very rewarding to learn form wrong-doing and correct them accordingly. I wish you the best of luck on you future endeavours, builds and maiden voyage of you new vessel.

Electric boat for the environment but cut down rain forest to build it. That makes sense !
@serdarbas80167 күн бұрын

@@serdarbas8016 Hardwood plantations weren't about 200 years ago. And are only here now to justify the use of that timber. Whatever they might have planted in relation to what they have harvested is totally insignificant. and will be for at least 100 years. On top of that the plantation do not have enough capacity to supply demand You driver a Range rover.......say no more that just negates to 500kg of carbon Everybody loves virtue signalling

Sn. Blacktail Studio linki; www.youtube.com/@BlacktailStudio/videos

Can someone explain me the vacuum part please ?
@serdarbas801612 күн бұрын
When you laminate curves parts, there will be air pockets between surfaces. It will weaken the hull. Vacuuming applies around 3kgs force in per 1cm2 area. Technically Im hydrolic pressing two parts together. Not a tiny air bubble can be found between the surfaces.

I have zero interest in electric vehicles of any kind until such time as the battery technology's reach a point of efficiency at least 5% higher than currently available. Until energy density and efficient storage rise significantly electric vehicles make NO SENSE.
@serdarbas801613 күн бұрын
Actually it does makes sense. I’m not going electric for only enviromental comcerns. It is almost totally silent. The experience is closer to sailing also It requires less maintenance.
@johnunderwood957513 күн бұрын
@@serdarbas8016 I concede that silence and or maintenance may be advantages for you. That does not mean they "make sense". Only that ,for you, they are desirable. Current battery technology is not green, nor is it sustainable. It is anything but either of these. In addition, it still requires electricity from mostly fossil burning power plants to charge those batteries.
@serdarbas801613 күн бұрын
@@johnunderwood9575 Well, I agree that manufacturing of batteries are also an environmental hazard, they are clean on the area of "usage" while the "hazard" is outsourced to China and other poor countries. I simply wanted a silent engine :)
@johnunderwood957513 күн бұрын
@@serdarbas8016 Not just manufacture. Disposal. Even worse. Not clean in the area of usage , as they still get charged by 80% coal and other fossil-fuel power plants. Not to mention the fact that we cannot at this time afford to charge cars and recreational boats when we are having massive outages because there is excessive demand during peak area usage such as what was caused in Texas recently. Should we be charging recreational vehicles when people are running short of heating and air conditioning power? No, it's time for people to wake up to the facts, we are not keeping pace with demand, and it is madness to drive up demand for other than essential services required to support life.
