I ran Mark Andy 2200, 2250 and 2300 for 12 years. And a Nilpeter for 5 yrs. Now I'm a boilermaker and the difference in pay is wildly higher in what I do now. But the skill level needed in press operating is much higher. You really need to know your sh*t to be good at operating a press. It just doesn't pay enough for the world we currently live in.
