What wonderful advice! That home gym is AWESOME! I THINK that you can write off some of the expenses (on your taxes), if you do fitness instruction (videos, virtual training, etc.).

I worked as a nurse from 1976 to 2024. When I graduated , nurses were paid 1 dollar above minimum wage. I didn't care because it was my calling.The first 30 years was wonderful, though hard work. But then it became consistently awful with staffing and salary/raises frozen. I left every day feeling I hadn't done a good job. Then, finally, I left the hospital to be a company nurse for 15 years.. It was better physically, but everything became about money. Raise freezes once more......so after a few months of thought, I retired . Now, I do things like deliver meals and work with an Alzheimer's group. This is as a volunteer, and I love it. Unfortunately, all the reasons above and the other comments are why there is a nursing shortage.
