I just found your channel, and I really like your approach! I'm fairly new to formal planning, but have been a "list" person all my life and have frequently used trackers and weekly spreads to make sure things get done. I'll try to join you in an upcoming Plan with Me. It's so conscientious of you to ensure that the captions on your videos are correct, but it sounds like the amount of time it takes you to do so is unsustainable. I'm wondering if there's a feature in Premier Pro that would allow you to add to the English language pack in the software any non-English terms that you commonly use (similar to how you can create a library of your own terms in MS Word so it doesn't continually highlight things as misspelled)? I've never worked with Premier Pro, and I looked quickly online to see if that feature was available and didn't see it. Have you asked tech support? If not, you might suggest to them that it would be a really useful feature!
@polariscreativeplanning3 ай бұрын
Welcome to the community! No, there is no way to add your own words. I've tried other software that in theory allows you to do that but you have to also train it for pronunciation. And any fluctuations in that pronunciation creates the same errors. It's a matter of waiting for these models to get better. I can keep it up in the short term but longer term, if the models don't improve, then I'll have to learn to create shorter videos. I hope to see you during a Plan With Me!

My kids are 26, 24 and 20. My youngest daughter is autistic. I was looking for planner channels with disabilities because I want to show my youngest to help her manage her anxieties. I don’t feel good most of the time at the moment so I want her self-sufficient as possible. My elders daughters will help her but my eldest daughter has a 10 year old son and my middle daughter is helping with her older brother. I am teaching my kids to help each other. I am 45 years old but my body feels older at the moment.
@polariscreativeplanning3 ай бұрын
That's a lot going on. I understand the old body feeling for sure. As for your autistic daughter and anxiety, let me know if there is anything specific you'd like me to talk about on those topics while I'm planning or for a video topic related to planning. Obviously us autistics aren't all the same, but maybe some of my strategies will help her.

I liked those month stickers, weird that they were missing some months. I agree the Jibun Techo is so small. I think I'll be trying the PAL planner next year (It's another planner from kokuyo, with a very different layout). I'll be pairing it with the Jibun Techo Days. At least that is my plan LOL

@polariscreativeplanning5 ай бұрын
Thanks! My advice before trying one is to make sure you have a clear use for it first and that you don't overcomplicate it. The top reasons I see people fall out of them is because they don't have a clear idea first and because they overcomplicate how they want to use it, especially with time-consuming trackers. Trackers are great. But ones that take a lot of time are a barrier to success.

Thanks! I bought the kit from the Kokuyo store (www.kokuyostore.com/) unfortunately, the full kits are no longer available. I think those are only available at the beginning of the release year. That said, all you need is a piece of cardstock, cut it down to the size of your planner of choice, decorate it how you want, then add the appropriate clear cover-on-cover.

For my day-to-day planning, yeah the layout really does not work for me. I had thought it would never be for me until recently, now that I need to keep some things separate from my daily planners. Thanks! I really like the A5 slim for the Days. It's just the right amount of room for my needs. It's funny, because I wish the Biz was a full A5, but the slim works for the Days.
@planningandpowerlifting7 ай бұрын
@polariscreativeplanning I have used the Biz in B6 slim for 2 years. I just got an A5 slim, and it seems so roomy, yet compact enough to fit in one of my smaller purses.
@polariscreativeplanning7 ай бұрын
yeah, that is one of the benefits of the slim! I have more than enough room in it for functional purposes. I just wish it made use of a 5 mm grid instead of 3.5. And now that I think about it, extra width wouldn't fix that issue without losing the lower sections that I use daily LOL.
