Yes, not an Hd, but I owned a p238 for a couple of years, and that was actually the first 380 that I ever bought. I did love that gun but I had a bunch of jams well at the range on a number of occasions, plus I don’t ride with a manual safety anymore, since my brain injury it’s just one step I prefer out of my process. But I will I loved the fit and finish of that pistol, it was certainly a quality firearm!

I have had serious problems with this new Ruger LCP max, I sold it this morning! Gun has failed to go into battery, stove pipes and the worst part was the magazine kept coming out of the gun about a quarter of an inch or so even while in it's in its pocket holster! I can shoot it almost as well as the full size. In a self defense situation its good enough. If I were in battle situation my G45 would be a better choice.

I put hands on every 380 Ruger LCP we have for sale.. IMO, I don't think I could carry a 380 after carrying a 9mm for the past 2 months.. while I appreciate your opinion, I need at least a 9mm for my next handgun.. I would prefer a full size with at least 4.0 inch barrel.. You’re welcome, brother. I always appreciate hearing from you and I love the support! Great to hear that your constantly with your companion at your side now! My opinion is a little different than others where I have always felt that it’s more necessary that we all get as familiar With the guns that we have in their stock form with sights especially before adding anyadditional aids. So if I were you, I would get as good as I possibly could get with training that canik frequently using its sites before adding a dot. And I would spend that money on another side piece that might be beneficial for you at times that you don’t want to take out the Canik. There’s a bunch of deals on Ruger LCP Max out there right now for around $300 on Guns.com.
