Fashion shows/runway walk and pageant walk are two different things. Try to watch other fashion shows like Versace, most models are just strolling to emphasize what they wear, not their walks. And in most fashion shows, models doesn't necessarily smile, it depends on the theme of the show. 🙂✌

Its a fashion runway, she is not supposed to walk like she is in a pageant, infact she needs to improve her runway walk to be like the greats of runway walkers like magdalena frackowliak, vlada roslyakova, Natasha poly etc.

@@zakieldi6965 nope, still lava walk wont work in a fashion show, watch the 2007 dolce and gabbana fall winter show where in almost all the supers of the modeling industry are cast ( snejana onopka, vlada, natasha, agynes, lily donaldson etc), or watch the Versace 2011 S/S Milan show, and compare to the walk of catriona, then you will know what high fashion is. Thats one of the reasons why Janine tugonon didnt make it big in runway fashion in the US cause of her diabolical walk.

@@chrismayo129 lava walk is a signature walk just like Naomi and Tyra has their own signature walk. If catriona does that i'm sure they will talk and remember. Even if you said it doesn't fit for high fashion. It's the signature things that counts

@@zakieldi6965 naomi is a legend having been in the modeling industry for 20 years now, no doubt about it her walk can work in vsfs, or a dior haute couture show, on the other hand tyra is very playful especially in vsfs, thats why adriana Lima and doutzen kroes gets inspiration from tyra whenever they walk the victorias, catriona on the other hand has a hard time adjusting to fashion shows, especislly that her training is more on pageant, she was handled by IMG models when she won, same agency that handles Giselle bundchen, Gigi, angela Lindvall, Nicole trunfio etc. But catriona has not been cast in any big campaigns like balmain, ysl, Chanel, Ana sui, d&g, versace, prada etc. Because deigners know that catriona is not meant for fashion shows. Her lava walk might be memorable for some pageant fans, but it won't leave a mark on the fashion industry.
