I was able to beat it in under a minute by spamming the nitrous boost and throwing as many thunderpoons as I could once I caught up to Stank Gum

This was my favourite game, until I tried this mission. Horribly handling car, slammed against walls, car damaged by the time I catch up. Won't be playing it again. why make an otherwise great game so hard?

Honestly don’t believe there is a “How”… you just get lucky. As shown at 1:15 your mount can just randomly get stuck, stop or slow down. The riders are glitchy and spam attacks… these races are garbage and are a pain in the ass for an avid player. As if machine spamming attacks wasn’t enough to troll the players 😅 Playing these races is a good way to get yourself to Rage Quit.

For those who want to win, my method: archangel demon of speed, the best tires, the best V6 engine, level 3 grenade launcher. Immediately after the start, use the booster, ram everyone, and use the grenade launcher on the boss. 3-4 shots, and it's done in 30 seconds.

I beat this on my first try, don't mean to brag. The max nitro boost helps a ton and improve your handling as well.

This game obviously wasn't tested before release, the handling of the cars in no way relates to the environment, the level difficulty is inconsistent and borderline impossible Then there's the combat with input about as delayed as the driving, buttons don't respond at all in some cases Do better!

I been doing this shit for god knows how long an can't fuckin get it! Shit is pissing me off

Tip1: remove any armor and grill. get as lighter as possible. Tip2: upgrade your explosive spears as high as possible. Tip3: always try to shoot main target

I have punched myself in the face and swore many times now on this mission , still stuck on it. Was loving the game , until this mission came into play.

Decided to replay this game after 4 years...beautiful AAA game...but the forced camera angles and poor controls kept this game from being more widly appreciated... the Stank Gum race is literally one of the most frustrating game experiences I've ever had...I completely forgot about it...its the actual poor game mechanics that unfortunately sabotage the players experience...

Did this about 50 times...then did Speed demon with upgraded tired and turbo'd to the front and the target in 5...took about 6 tries with the faster car.

did it last night. took so many tries.had to get up and either take a few puffs of weed or listen to something after almost every try to calm myself down. but the good thing is once you manage to blow up stank gum thats pretty much it

This mission is so easy all I did was made it so I had nothing that would weigh me down and I focused on stank gum and I killed him in like 30 secs

Been failing this mission a dozen times over and been spoutin curse words that don't even exist. I didn't realize you could hit him immediately from the start. That should help

This race can not be done I have tryed for 4 years on the same race I have try every known way I have put both handling and defence boots on my car haw you did it in 3 shots is beyond me

Thanks for advice. Initially I made a mistake, that I was restarting the game after I didn't manage to destroy Stunk Gum car right at the beginning (didn't realize we would be guaranteed to catch up with him later), but when I finally continued, paying attention not to be destroyed by others or walls, I finally destroyed that vehicle. BTW, it would be the nice feature, if after destroying his car, it would be possible to chain Stank Gum by the neck to Opus Magnum and haul him like that to the finish line. However, [SPOILERS below] the possibility of saving Hope and her daughter would be even nicer, but we can't do it neither. :(

my tips for winning the race, 1) use the water sprays on the short-cuts in the race when your rides damaged; 2) tap the breaks and take finger off the accelerator round corners and this will help you stay in control- drifting recovery is difficult to master; 3) use boost on the straights as hitting before corners will smash you into walls 4) this is only a choice// I changed my ride to keep the acceleration higher so only had the 4th defense armor and 3rd bumper for attack (change it to help your driving style)- this you need to prepare before starting the race. By far one of the worst missions I've EVER played in all of games. Given the shit handling and driving mechanics this single mission made me quit playing the game for over 3 years.
