Hi mate, just saying great video, explained a lot. Just asking, is there anyway I could use the spanner to clamp down a prong of a bearing puller and then use the bearing puller to take out gib key? Just a question. It’s on a 1951 Petter A1 3hp 1500rpm 👍

What about some heat ? Tried it, will not budge but the drift key keeps popping out

@@alaincote6684 not sure heat would be my go to option especially on a combine with all that dust and everything, just keep the lubrication on there

Hello, thank you. I have a gib key stuck on a combine shaft. Your spud wrench idea is awesome my drift key keeps jumping out.I am going out right now with the spanner.

@@akros-8088 if you are referring to the small engine I believe it’s a washing machine engine but i will try find out

Nice to see someone using an engine and putting it under load and letting it do some work. It is a shame you only seem to find people pumping water out of the tub and letting it run back in again which doesn’t really achieve anything. Brilliant video. Keep up the good work, cheers Derek

As says we took it off for the purpose of it being an educational video not because we really needed to remove it, everything you need to know about removing the key in the video
