As others have said the kayak dock is too high off the water. On my 16 foot composite kayak as I leave the dock the kayak is unstable and to get the kayak on the dock I must accelerate to get the kayak up on the dock far enough to use the notches. The hitting of the dock will crack the fiberglass . To date EZDOCK and the local seller have not responded to the request to lower the kayak dock so some water enters the V of the dock . I am sure different spacers on the install could rectify the situation.

I don't see this particular launch on your web site. Has it been discontinued?

Water in this add looks like a giant sewer. Very unappealing.

This ad tells me nothing except the name of the company and that the people are doing something with docks. Seems just about right. Camer work was great though and the added water sounds we're pleasant even though slightly unrealistic as you should have heard the jetski running. Feel like it's lacking just a little bit more info and it would be a great ad, website, location, products, capabilities, technical support, prices, phone number, email, etc. Not all that but some.

This is great. Unfortunately my 68 year old father in law still can’t get back off by himself. Great invention though. I love that my local kayak place has one

You do know that's a floating dock, right? You can see the pylon on the far right in most of the video. 🤦🏼♂️

But.... you already have a dock...? 🤣 How much easier does it need to be?

A lot easier for those not able to use just the dock. Think outside the box, Reel.

How about outrigger pontoons too? That way you don’t need to develop any skills Or for millennials and gen z ... maybe stay inside and play a kayak/canoe video game
@dgbrownnt3 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the target demo is for older kayakers, i.e. those with leg and hip issues that make it harder getting in and out of the kayak (but doesn't impair using the kayak on the water). But go ahead and blame the kids again 🤣(you should also remind them to get off your lawn)

I've used this before, I will say it would be good for small kayaks however it isn't the best for a 12 ft kayak like mine.

if you don't have the dexterity to get in and out of a kayak from the shoreline without a gizmo, you should not buy a kayak. A Jon boat would suit you better. JS

Why not just learn how to properly get into a boat? Or you could buy an expensive giant plastic dock to fit onto your existing dock.

If you can’t get into the boat normally don’t do that. Thats kayak 101. On water it only gets trickier.

This might also work for a canoe. Put an aluminum frame and a pair of wheels under it and you've got a nice yak trailer as well... it would be better with a cup holder though.

I like this, but don’t have the physical ability to stand up at the end. I have limited mobility. I could sit down into the boat ok, but not get out afterwards.
@dgbrownnt3 жыл бұрын
You could probably set up a swivel chair or something similar to help with the getting in-out (would still require some arm strength unless it had a pneumatic element).
@westbayoutdoors1232 жыл бұрын
I would contend that kayaking isn't a safe activity for you if you can't get in and out of the kayak in an emergency after tipping.
