Nice work! Nice bits of gold! All that material you were running looks great! What about packing in a small highbanker setup and just run a shitload of gravel? Good gold hunting! Take care.

Locate the concentrated pockets of gold by learning how to apply physics in dowsing. In the 1970's my father and I reverse engineered the physics involved in dowsing and invented the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod for applying physics in dowsing to locate our old core-drill on the exact center of gold and silver veins that are buried under 200 feet of glacier rock and till, which worked out perfectly for us. I wrote the book to teach the world how to apply physics in dowsing. My book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik, explains all the physics involved in dowsing which are the same physics that energizes the alarm on electronic metal detectors, and teaches how to build the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod the precisely gauges the element that is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is tapped onto the ELEVATED acetylene welding rod, which free spins on ball bearings. This precisely gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading or deciphering the amount of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing and mastering my book's dowsing lessons. I hope dowsing enriches your life intellectually and financially.

Nice work. That's a good section of the river. You would increase some fine gold recovery if you were to wet classify your material but it does make the buckets heavier lol thanks for sharing and heavy pans 😎

You found some pretty nice color but I have to break the news to you: leaving all that skim dirt laying on the bed rock unswept means you just left a big payday for the next guy that comes along... And the worst part is that YOU did all his work for him!! (Ya gotta sweep the bedrock or you're just fooling yourself)!

@ :52, is that river rock embedded in the side, and what is the side, DG? (Decomposed Granite) on the side wall looks similar where I found my first nugg and at 1:40.. detect every single inch of that area lol, so much as to draw lines in a square or use branches so you make sure you detect every inch.. love the adventure!
@seancannon334711 күн бұрын
I've been to an area that looks similar to the tailing piles area you were at, area below had been dredged and the conveyor belt dropped the tailing piles... in your area it looks like it was an old river bench and those rocks were moved into piles to uncover the soil and gold below? I'm just guessing.. my buddy was detecting and found an old chinese coin... i detected around the tailing piles and found numerous pickers, largest being 4.6 gram... Great adventure!

Good vid bud!

I can’t help but notice classifying wet do ya reckon you leave a lot of good on the rocks? I found a dry canyon here in Utah which at the moment of the year found some bigger gold for the area I’ve been told. It’s wet now with snow. Would I be wasting my time moving snow and taking all the dirt out to run
@karlstruck529712 күн бұрын
Hard to tell from the video. Those grey pieces you called led might be mercury covered gold. Just might be led though hard to tell from what I could see. Only saying it so you don't throw out possible gold.

Get some magic fingers from Keene. Also bring a hand brush to get all materials off of the bedrock. Also a heavy duty crevice scraper for narrow cracks. I've found big nuggets deep in those cracks where my metal detector doesn't get any signals but then I tear the crack way open and a foot deeper than you thought it went and there the gold has dropped down and now rests where nobody would have found it without tearing up that bedrock. Been to that very spot. You processed way more material than most. My bones and muscles are too old to accomplish what you did. Quarter gram beats the skunk. There are pockets of decent pay in that area but hard to find. Great vid as usual.

Been there and done that! Next time, bring a metal rake and scape off the top two or three inches in a 3x3' sample area. And of course look for bedrock. I like your vids because you tell a story and you have fun. I predict that, soon, you will not only find a nug but you get a Chinese coin!!!!
