The diavollol had the ability to erase reality to one that he won, if he chose a reality in which the diavollo If he chose a reality where he killed Saitama he would skip the process and go straight to the result, he practicallyhe could hit kill any character because he jumped straight to the result so if at the end of the ability he saw himself killing the enemy he would kill the enemy, there was a part that was mentioned (I think) that the crimson king shaped reality creating a future that he won

the ger nullified the reality that the diavollo had created then the ger could cancel any action directed at him even the death of the giono

Eh, he was fine. According to some behind the scenes stuff, Joker killing Giorno's Shadow did trigger a mental shutdown, but Requiem reset it in the real world, so he was fine and only experienced a change of heart.

@@octavioespitia4818 but with that aside what Death Battle does is use shown feats rather than statements and/or speculations so when things come to requiem you start to see a limit which is good for most things but not this because of the theory of how the requiem powers work what that is, is this; the arrow grants the power to overcome the situation or obstacle in front of it that's why S.C.R & G.E.R have such different abilities the arrow give them what they needed at that moment Chariot needed to get away and G.E.R needed a way to beat King Crimson is if they had allowed that to be a factor in the fight you could see why they wouldn't because if they did nothing Joker did would matter.
