Ever grateful for the brush tip - I had a clog on which other things (various solutions, plunger) did nothing for more than a comfortable while. Enzyme powder made the situation worse and the slow draining toilet then stopped draining completely. I then for the heck of it tried the brush "plunge" before calling someone -- and soon the magic "gloop" and auto flush happened. Thank you!!!!!!!!

I've never lived in house without knowing the location of all my utilities. Nor have I ever felt the need to not know how those valves look like. Is this really an issue in your area? Seems like the men need to do some serious growing up if you ask me. I recently experienced a ruptured line in my kitchen and without thinking I opened the hatch to my crawlspace and the mains was shutdown within 10 seconds. Sure I was drenched, but who cares in such situation. The aftermath took a few hours more. I recon the line burst open around 4 am and I came down around 7. So you can imagine the amount of water I had across my floor.
