There were a lot of sincere, honest mistakes where the head was mistaken for the ball. Let's face it they are about the same shape and size at a rough estimate..... Any way football has always been about if you cannot win fairly, why not have a go at losing unfairly, the result of the game isn't going to change anyhow....oh the wonderful satisfaction of evening up the ledger..... Those were the good old, honest days..... These days it's all about staging, grandstanding, and faking it like Hollywood acadamy award nominations stars..... Even fixing the results so that home crowd will come back next week, to spend some more of their borrowed money.....to fatten that big wallet that the AFL needs to fill.

Barry Hall, Tony Lockett and Wayne Carey were all thugs. Despite their recorded records at the time, they should not be celebrated as all time greats. They were nothing more than common street thugs, and pieces of shit. Yes, it was a different game back then, but there was no reason, whatsoever, to knock someone else out, causing them permanent brain damage and future neurological issues. Disgusting behaviour, and they ALL, amongst others as well, should be removed from 'fame' stature. No, I'm not a soft cock, I'm 50 and have seen the evolution of the game over this time.

Katie you lost get over it, save your money. Stop trying to be vindictive and look after your kid, just as Liam's parents should have done. Tragic story of a talented man descends into all about me or someone else. Sickening..

I love some of the commentators' inability to see what's going on. At 18.52 - a player attempts to mark and gets solidly belted and goes down like the proverbial bag of shit - commentator says "He falls over - or was he held?"
