There is no as such requirement for English proficiency. They’ll assess your skills during video interview.

Hi there, I applied for the 2024 METI japanese internship but I haven't heard any response from them. The internship was supposed to start on the 25th of August but till now it keeps saying my application is in selection. Does METI take a long while to review applications or those who didn't meet the requirements won't get notified.

Actually METI has already sent out emails to selected participants for 2024 batch and they will probably send "sorry, not selected" mail within a month. So, I recommend you to prepare yourself for next year. 1. Technical upskill IT/AI 2. Japanese language upskill 3. Get some Certifications All the best

So wanted to ask you. That I was given companies links to apply for by METI Japan. I have not been contacted for intervies still by any company. What does this mean?? It is more than 2 weeks and still no interview call. The Internship duaration is between 26Aug and Nov 22. I searched and found that METI only sends links to partcipants passing documentation screening.

there are 4 sets of internship periods, and one starts on oct 31st, so if you get selected you will fall into that category

Hi abhishak The applications are closed. As far as your major is concerned they accept interns from all backgrounds. But i would recommend you to learn some Japanese which will increase your chances of selection. Good luck

These are two different. But IT&AI one is also closed, maybe you can try again next year around May-June

If I am not bothering, then may I ask, in what ways are they different from each other?, excluding the field, i.e Open to all vs only AI/ML Because everything seems similar, fully funded, same living allowance, both organised by METI and everything
