My ‘11 starts with less cranks in -20, something isn’t quite right

Seats were just better back then. Now, everything looks cheap and "sporty." Nothing looks or feels comfortable. Obviously, I much prefer velour to leather, but even so, luxury cars back then were less about trying to get you somewhere in record time and more about getting you there comfortably. But comfort is now a bad word.

“Powerful V6” 😂. I’m going to have to disagree with you there, Ricardo. 150 hp is not powerful. It’s a Honda Civic. But it’s adequate (barely) for what is one of if not the classiest luxury cars of the 1980s and 90s. I love the tufted velour. Leather doesn’t do as much for me, but it’s better than the leather you get in modern cars. People can disrespect these cars and call them “boring” and “grandpa cars” all they want, but if you have chronic pain, they’re unbeatable. We need a modern version that combines the tufted velvet with massage and all the modern features. But the Zoomers won’t buy it. I can help them get back pain like I have if they like.

That Caprice is a 1991 or 1992 as rear wheel well’s are lower. 1993 - 1996 are more open.

When this car was first introduced, it was a New Yorker with "Fifth Avenue Edition" badge on the rear door. Later, when the New Yorker name was applied to the front wheel drive "k car," Chrysler renamed the "m body" the Fifth Avenue. Interesting (or amusing) that the badge was unchanged on the door, that it was a "Fifth Avenue Edition" of a Fifth Avenue! 😂
