Glad that it was useful! I still made some silly mistakes that lost a bunch of time when added up, though. For example, at 1:15, I could have waited to cook the rice until I was getting ready to leave the kitchen instead of having to do a double-take (it didn't cost that much time here but I think this happened multiple times, like at 19:05; I can't find significant examples of that kind of time loss in this video so maybe I'm thinking of a previous speedrun attempt). I also hesitated slightly at 8:43 because I didn't remember if there was anything else I could do at the workstation at that moment. Even something as simple as plating an item at 10:45 could have caused issues if it messed up the hallway timings with the monster since I could have waited to plate the item after having brought back the rice and nori. I'm really out of practice right now (it's been about half a year since I really played the game) so there's probably other optimizations I could have made but I'd need to refresh my memory about the best strategies; those are the main things I can think of at the moment. I'll try out Chapter 2 of the game soon and maybe I'll speedrun that as well

Which part about the climbing section of the tower do you have a question about? Is it how to avoid the damage bricks when climbing up / down or side to side?

Oh, if you're asking about the one shown at 2:00 in the video, the standard way of getting to that button is by walking over the blocks while it is visible, without jumping. I had used a strategy where you jump and then try to jump again while midair; even though there is no doublejumping, it used to register it as a jump for the disappearing / reappearing blocks feature, causing the blocks to reappear. I haven't played in a while but I rejoined now to see if it still works but it appears that behavior has been changed / fixed since I posted this speedrun (probably sometime last month, which is when the game was last updated).

I understand the original confusion since the video showed a different way of getting across the blocks that happened to no longer be possible anymore by the time you posted your comment. I hadn't played in a while after completing speedruns for every map in the game so I didn't know that feature was changed (I should probably add a pinned comment or include something in the description to clarify this for anyone who has the same or a similar question in the future). Have fun with Tower World! :D I think there is a new map being added to the game sometime soon-ish so when that releases I'll probably post a new speedrun

If you jump towards the white circle at the start of the zipline (first shown at 0:43 in the video), it'll automatically attach the Character model to it and then bring you to the other side. If you jump towards a part of the zipline that is far away from the white circle, it won't work since it only allows the Character to start holding onto the zipline at the very start of it where the white circle is. And then once you are using the zipline, you can jump at any time to detach from it (first shown at 0:45 in the video) since that might be able to save a small amount of time for the speedrun in some situations. And to comment on the other things you mentioned, I think something important to consider is that the overall impact of views will differ depending on what kind of video it is. So a couple thousand views on something such as a tutorial video versus a million views on a 5-second video, for example, would likely vary greatly in terms of how much it impacted each viewer. Depending on what that theoretical 5-second video was about, viewers might forget about it much sooner in comparison to a tutorial that helped them a lot with figuring out something. And my point with this is that it's ok if other videos get wayyyy more views since the context is probably much different, and speedrun videos like this one I posted was not made to get a bunch of views, but to showcase what is humanly possible in such games, to share my enjoyment of the game with other people, etc.

It's from the "Telamon's Chicken Suit" accessory that my character has equipped. It's one of the few hats on Roblox that randomly plays sounds in-game

Currently the game awards you coins for playtime (it used to be 25 coins every minute but now it's 25 coins every 200 seconds). There's also coins you get for reaching checkpoints for the first time. The developers have mentioned that they will be adding quests to get coins but idk if that will come with the next update or after that

And yeah I have opted against using that skip for now, with one of the main reasons being that the bounding box update made it easier to climb faster, which means that you basically need to complete that skip within 5 seconds or else you lose time. Since this speedrun, I have improved my 100m time to ~3:22 which will be included in the 200m speedrun I am about to publish

Hmmm, I'm not sure what would be causing that to happen. I'd recommend making a bug report about that in the community Discord server for the game so that the developers can look into it. There's a bug report guide / template there that outlines what you should explain to make it easier for them to figure out a solution

Nope, it's a completely standard speedrun with no external tools / software used. Joined the game and enabled the Speedrun mode through the in-game settings and went from there

Not everything was at the perfect timing; at 5:35 in the video / 5:25 on the in-game timer, I missed the cycle for the moving staircases which resulted in a decent amount of time lost. Other than that, it mainly comes down to practicing a lot because the timings are effectively always the same. Whenever you start a new run, everything resets back to its "default" position and then it begins to move, so if you know where something is positioned at a particular time on the in-game timer, it should always be in that spot at that specific time (so long as you started moving right away upon restarting, and also excluding objects that only start moving as a result of player action), which makes it easier to predict what to expect next.
