I saw those pliers laying on the tracks at the end and wondered how you didn't have a short! Then I remembered there's more than one way to wire a layout.

I didn't see them until you pointed it out. Luckily, those are programing tracks. one for JMRI and the other one is my Lok Programer

@@gs2864 - I would say you are right @gs2864! The hostler must have had assistance from a switchman signaling with a lantern or flag or directing with a two-way radio.
