many people buy basic set of tackles. they try to catch fishes, sometimes they never catch single fish for many months. even i faced similar situation when i do lure fishing. such situation happens because of beginners doesn't know the following parameters to consider while fishing. types of target fish, suitable lure for the target fish, whether condition, tidal movement, moon phase, type of retrieval, speed of retrieval, where to expect what, types of rigs to be used when dead and live bait, size of the hooks and bait selection for tgt species. so it would be great if AFT create a course for both theoretical and practical session for (Lake, river, jetty, surf, boat). till now i caught only GT from Jetty using hard lure. with dead bait i caught only cat fishes, rarely lady fish. it can be either a paid course or detailed youtube video. it can help beginners doesn't give up the hobby. this is the strategy maruti suzuki have, they teach driving they sell cars.
