Hello! Random stranger here who watched your basic friendship bracelet knot tying video so I could help my daughter! Thanks for that! We are doing great now :) I checked your other videos to see if you had any other good vids, and you do, but I also saw this most recent one, so I watched it. My wife struggles with anxiety and depression and has most of her life. I've heard her say some of the exact things you say in your video and I just want to reassure you of something. I have no incentive to lie to you here, either, so please trust I am being sincere: You are the best mom, EVER, for your son. I promise you that. Every minute of yourself that you give him is the most valuable thing in the world to him and it doesn't matter if it's 2 minutes, or 20, or 2 hours, or 5 hours each day. Do the things you can, how you can, and that is enough. We can only do so much with the energy and mental bandwidth we have each day, and we don't all get the same to start with. You do you. You have to take care of yourself in order to take care of him and sometimes that means heading home sooner than you'd like, or not getting out some days at all. If he is with you, that is what counts. The important part is to remember that taking care of yourself is the right choice, each day, if it's what lets you "keep calm and carry on". This life IS hard, you said it, even when things are going pretty good it is still hard work all the time! It will always be hard, but it will get easier to manage the more you keep on doing the right things. Good job with your sobriety, keep it up! It is also hard, but so so so worth it. The "feeling better" with alcohol/drugs isn't real, it just numbs us so we don't actually feel at all, and the only way to maintain that (false) feeling is to use more, and you know that leads to ruin. You are very strong, and getting stronger every day. Keep up the great work!

I work in childcare and meet a lot of stressed parents and I always try my best to remind them that making time for yourself and calm down is super important too. Easier said than done but here you're showing great tips on how to do that!!

I do am very divided when it comes to algorithms. On the one hand they feed the fear and hate spiral our western society is in… but in the other without the yt algorithm I would have never found your video! Finding oneself, loving art and the emotions it triggers, figuring out how to be human in a "Leistungsgesellschaft" all that hit very close to home for me. I am going through somewhat of the same, even though you and I are probably very different kind of people I imagine. I used "Leistungsgesellschaft" because I feel like the English translation of "meritocracy" does not really fit in my opinion. A meritocracy should reward people based on what they have done for themselves and others. Our modern world does not. In German the word "Leistungsgesellschaft" is often with a in a negative connotation. Because it embodies the feeling of having to prove to other people that you have the right to be, well human. Or at least what Iike to call being human. I really do feel the part when you were talking about how you thought about if you film this and upload it or not and what the social pressure will do to your motivation. I have been thinking about the same with my creative work too. Even though some people might not call all of it creativity, but to me being creative is just about expressing emotions. When you talked about the lines and shapes - exactly that. I love your approach to life and the thoughts that you have. Please never become part of the Leistungsgesellschaft and always do art for yourself! We loose so much when we try to fit in. But I do feel the point about worrying how to finance oneself too. And I do not have an answer for me personally, yet. It is crushing to know that you might have to sacrifice parts of being yourself in order to try being yourself. I just want to be. Your video was exactly about that, at least to me viewing it on the other end of the world :) And for that I want to thank you! Knowing I am not alone with this and all these thoughts, is kinda comforting ^^ Keep doing this, you are amazing!
