In your video the SIM card has three numbers , the centre one being the mobile number . The SIM card I received with my 4G ZTE router has only two ( the upper and lower shown in your example ) . Where do I find the number I need to register with and access my account ?

Big difference between the two: A modem allows computer of a router connected to it to make its own connection to the Internet and thus receive a public IP address which makes it "reachable" from the anywhere in the world. A router (usually incorrectly pronounced by the Americans as the tool for grinding surfaces), unfortunately, reserves the public IP address to itself and deals out local IP addresses to the connected to it devices which, in turn, makes them unreachable from the internet IF the said router is connected to the mobile network, be it 5G, 4G or 3G), as is the case with mobile phones. The reason for that is the nature of the mobile connection which is via NAT and differs completely from fiber, cable or DSL. So, if I may suggest a change of title: "Using Your Android Phone as a Router".

These videos are great but what's the point of sending out a broadband unit with a SIM card that has no number written on it? Logging into the broadband settings doesn't help as the number doesnt show as it's not activated. So I am sitting with a SIM card I can't activate & a broadband I now can't use. Maybe whoever writes these clips should be a customer at 3 first & see how they get round their faults.
