Hey everyone! With this season seeing some progression from the Kraken, what should our goal for the next season be? 1. Just aim for the playoffs again this year and keep building the prospect pool. 2. Try to make the conference finals without making any drastic changes to the roster. 3. I picked St.Louis. Year one I didn’t do much at the deadline other than I added a depth defensmen. I got the last wild card spot but got swept by Colorado. At the draft, I traded Pavel Buchnevich to Detroit in exchange for Tyler motte, a first, and a 5th. I drafted Matt Schaefer with the pick. I signed Jeff Skinner to a two year 6 mil deal to replace Buchnevich. I trade a prospect defensmen to Dallas in exchange for a Christian Kyrou. Jumped into year two, I traded radek Faksa, and Tropochenko to Nashville in exchange for Philip Tomasino and vinnie hinostroza to add some better offensive production on my bottom 6 and gave Nashville some physicality and grit , and I wasn’t using them either. I’m at the year 2 deadline currently. I’m looking forward to your series

Just subbed. Great video. I want to do franchise mode with everything on to make it as real as possible. I'm also messing around with the sliders to make the cpu vs cpu games as realistic as I can. Are you going to have a series with Franchise mode everything is on?

@@dougiejdm it only appears at certain points in the season. I believe it goes away between the rfa deadline and the free agent re-signing phase

The draft route seems to be treating you good, but add alil more depth here and there can be good as well down a few episdoes

Hey everyone, as the Kraken see yet another first round exit in this episode, what is the game plan heading into this offseason and the next season? 1. Continue to build through the draft and with young players: success will arrive with our prospects developing properly. 2. Combine finding some depth pieces with our current players to make this team more of a contender: a balance of veterans and youth will win a cup. 3. Blow it up, trade away all our older players to find some younger pieces that fit with our young core to become a juggernaut in future seasons. Respond to get featured in the next video! Also, with the LA Kings winning the last 2 draft lotteries and landing 2 franchise playmakers, what should our approach be to maintain the NHL draft lottery restriction rule where a team can only win 2 lotteries within 5 seasons? We can either just let them have the pick if they win again or we can re-sim a certain stretch of the calendar.

No need to rush anything. Pieces will fit together as you build through the draft just like in ur HLM series. Also, only try and trade the older players just before they start falling off a cliff so you can at least get some value before it’s negative. I would personally like to see Montour retire a Kraken! (I just like him as a player a lot.) Excited for more videos!

I really like option 1. The best way to build a team is through the draft in my opinion. And I also like some of the older pieces such as McCann and Montour.

Whenever i go for a bodycheck it feels like when two postitive magnets are put against each other and the game pulls me left or right its extremely annoying, im angling my analogs in the direction they are clearly cutting to and the game does this making me look lost on the ice @@Etanyos

As we finish up this season and make a step in the 'Wright' direction, what moves would you like to see from Seattle heading into this offseason? At the Draft: Option 1: Use some assets to trade for and draft as many draft steals (players picked outside of the first round as possible. Option 2: Trade up to snag a Sniper like Alessandro Di Iorio while also finding some value deals that land us contract-expiring top end players to re-sign after the draft. In Free Agency: Option 1: Just keep the team as is and let some of our youngsters grow into bigger roles. Option 2: Fill some gaps and upgrade our team to make in farther in the playoffs this upcoming season. Respond to this comment to get featured in the next season of this franchise mode save!

I think you should choose option 1 at the draft. I think drafting steals is very valuable and makes your team really young and skilled. I think you should choose option 1 in free agency. I am a huge fan of young and fast teams. I think you should put some youth into the line up.

So, even in practice you're unable to score consistently... That's why this game sucks. Doing challenges against Superstar AI is impossible.

Great video. Before I watched this, I would just use auto scouting every year and struggle to get an Elites. Now, I have 5 Elite prospects in only 2 drafts! 10/10 would watch again

Hey i would like to ask you which controls would you recommend to play with Total controls or skill stick? I was long time Hybrid player however i decided to give new controls a try… I was div 1-2 player with Hybrid and i feel like i actually play worse on Total controls i guess because I’m not used to it 😂🥲…

@radeon_7745 honestly, I love total controls. I only really use the face buttons for performing breakouts, long stretch passes and cross crease tap ins with the vision passing. Beside that it's not very different from Skill Stick so I think if you can master it you'll be an even better player than you were!

@@Etanyos I agree with you i noticed how much better the passing is on total controls over Hybrid.. However for some reason i am just not used to Pressing RT instead of A to switch players… I ordered a Xbox Elite controller and il try to remap some buttons 😂 maybe that will help..

@@Etanyos For some reason its just that RT button makes me defend worse too i could poke check and position my self way better when all i had to do is press A to switch and for passing too no idea why that is but i guess its just matter of getting used to.. I hope they patch the one timers though those are annoying atm

I’m hoping you pick porter Martone with the 9th pick. You’ve got plenty of top center depth and I don’t think it’s wise to draft a defensive defenseman that early. You can definitely use a big power forward to go with wright, Beniers, firkus, etc. looking forward to more videos!

I would definitely try to get Suglobov at 5. I think it’s worth investing into a future stud down the middle. If the price seems steep to you at some point (after trying to trade for the guy a couple of times), then just go with the 3rd option, and draft with the picks you got. No point of picking up vets, as this team needs to mature with its young guys on the roster, and in a few years trade/release the veteran players so that better players can fill their spots, whether it’s Suglubov or free agent/trade acquisitions (guys in their prime ideally/ younger guys you can lock up for many years). With all that being said, I’ve been a sub since before you hit 1K, and life just happened since that period of time, and I just want to wish you the best of luck with your channel moving forward. Keep up the hard work, and looking forward to future Franchise Mode content! Cheers!

yeah, just adjust them over by about a week. The scouting report on year 1 doesn't come out quite as perfect buts its still not bad at all
