What about forearm rotation as opposed to using the thumb muscle? Isn´t that considered default when playing melodic passages with the thumb in flamenco?

Specialy the beginning sounds far better than the bombastic other ways I heard, and leads far better to the first variation.

Might be giving them a go soon! Pyramid nickle orange pack have been my favorite for a couple of years. Impressive life on those, too, for a vintage-y string.

Portamento vs glissando on guitar how do you actually differentiate these 2 sliding motion on fretboard?

amazing ! far from the original (as played on a keyboard) but a beautiful quiet tempo and a higly guitaristic transcription of the descending melody. This kind of music we rarely hear ! go ahead with other Scarlatti's inventions ...

Awesome. Recently I have been spending time with musicians jamming - mostly rock, some blues. I really would like to jam with them and they have been very enthusiastic knowing I studied cello a bit. I dropped my interest in cello playing eons ago - frankly I got tired of trying to learn classical repertoire as an amateur. Much too "studied" and rigid. So I recently grabbed a harmonica and I am jamming without any study at all. I now want to do the same and learn blues on the cello with a minimum of music theory. Get "out of my head" and into the feeling of music. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can't thank you enough for producing such valuable guitar lessons. Will you be able to make a lessonette on minimising hand fatigue. I am struggling with finger fatigue and unable to overcome it even after years of practice.

Rest stroke, thumb 2 strings behind, train your fingers to do 3 against 4 on one string, then train your i finger to plant and your a finger to prepare once m plays on one string. Then do the same thing on ascending patterns. Descending is easier. Don't slack on IM scales either, these are not a replacement for them but rather an addition to make speed easier to attain. Avoid the accent on a at all costs, the speed will come. Start slow and deliberate. Do lots of ami runs.

So what? How much cheaper do you sell your strings that is the question. As long as the price is not very very competitive there is no point.
