Hey. Great video. Looking to stay in Saariselka in late November. Is there much to do in that town? And was your excursions book at the hotel or separate company?

Thanks for watching! I think for the 6/7 days we stayed was perfect for what's there to do around town. There are several entrances to the National Park so you can hike different parts. One thing we didn't do was try cross country skiing, so if that's in your nature, we highly recommend doing that because there's designated trails for that and it looked like A LOT of fun. Most of our excursions were purchased through our hotel - it was just more convenient for us since when we went it was around the time the world was opening back up from the pandemic so we couldn't find a lot of options... might be different now! Thanks so much for watching! You will definitely catch the beauty of the lights from the hotel without the excursion. The excursion just bring you out further to an area with lesser light pollution and the lake. We were able to catch the best northern lights we've seen right from our cabin! Nice video. How long were you able to stay at the valley of kings and queen H. Does the tour guide or driver just wait for you until you’re done?

@@mikepham518 hi! Thanks for watching. We spent about an hr at Queen Hatshepsut’s and around 1.5 hours at the Valley of the Kings. Both our driver and guide waited for us as we went around. Some parts of the ruins don’t allow tour guides, so ours just waited. Hope this helps! Have a fun trip. Safe travels

Hi, did you have luggage that you checked in with your airline? If so, were you able to leave those on the plane while you went on your tour?

Hi! Our airline was Korean Air all the way through to our final destination so we did NOT have to claim it and re-check it in again - they handled the transfer themselves. We just had our carry-on backpacks, which we left at the airport storage location called Hanjin Express - we mentioned more about it at around 0:47 ... hope this helps! Safe travels

Hi! Great question - hope people see this comment. This video was April 2023. As of now (Aug. 2024), it's closed unfortunately. If they open back up soon, the first friday of every month will be closed the rest of 2024 for restoration. Thanks!

Cool Trip, I just got back from thee Nile cruise Aswan to Luxor, Same as you, I sit on top of the boat and have my coffee and just look in amazement, well I really messed up LOL I thought Abu Simbu was in Luxor ugh, so I get to Aswan, go to the High damn, but first of all, I took the train to Aswan, from Cairo, my silly Egyptian friend drove me to the station in Cairo, He wanted to run in and buy the ticket, I told him, Sleeper Berth, 100 times, he comes back with ticket and its cheaper than I researched? and the train station, I was sure was the wrong one, but he assured me, well get there that night, no sleeper berth Arghhhh< this is what I get for trusting him, OMG Wa-Led, listen to what I say. so I get to Aswan, tired as hell, go to the damn, then the fantastic temple, Got the boat to Luxor and thought about Abu Simbu and then realized its south of Aswan LOL, oh well, gives me a excuse to go back a 4th time LOL Your Video's are great!!

Hi! Can you share how much the ride to kuta from padang bai costs? I’m looking into pre-booking my transfer from padang bai to kuta but it’s so hard finding anything online 😅

@@jessicaruthvania537 hi! We paid around 550,000 idr ($32 USD) for one way from Padang Bai to Yello Hotel in Kuta. You may have to negotiate with a local driver or taxi on site - maybe check the Grab app to see what the going rate is at the time of your arrival, and see if you can use that as a negotiation tool. That harbor is strict with Rideshare pickup. Also, check out June, The Bali Driver… he has great ratings on TripAdvisor and I know a few people who have highly recommended him and his services. Hi- During the cruise, when we made stops to Edfu and Kom Ombo, we did NOT have a guide. Normally there are tour packages where it’ll include a guide. Hope this helps! Thanks and safe travels

How muchh was it to store luggage at the train station? My husband and I have a 12 hour layover the day before the Olympics start. Would you recommend still trying to visit despite how busy it’ll be? We are up for the adventure

Hi! We paid $10 for a large locker because we had two big backpacks. I think it’s still worth it to try and go around Paris on your layover if time allows. That’ll be so cool to see how the city is decorated around the Olympics! Have so much fun!
