Haha! It's just my 3rd time cruising and first time I heard of this... I was actually looking for door stickers earlier and almost bought that pineapple cluelessly 😅

I've gone on 3 free cruises and have other offers outstanding, but being fairly new to this, here's my question: You mentioned that you can book up to 5 free cruises when you get a Carnival offer, so spending even $5k in the casino is still worth it.... but if you spent 5k in the casino on 1 trip, wouldn't you still need to spend a fair bit on each of the next 5 free cruises that you just unlocked with that spend, in order to keep future offers coming? I'm trying to learn the balance of how to keep offers coming without having to play big each time.

We have used our debit cards for MANY years and have never had an issue. We do now purchase gift cards through AARP, but would use our debit cards again.

So what makes you think that I would be as stupid as you are to gamble with my debit card backing my charges? Point is you were stupid to do what you did. If you do not gamble like you did a debit card would work fine. Also if you have a substantial enough balance to cover your charges a debit card would work fine. I do forget though you are the Walmart cruiser who does everything on the cheap which means you probably never have very much money in your account anyway.

I buy a $500 gift card from AARP (for $450) and put it on my account when I board the ship. It keeps my spending in check and when I finish my cruise, I’m debt free :)

This is a real clean beach I don’t know what she’s talking about, but you have like 5 shops there at a time, people come just for the beach but it has way more then just that beach , Nassau is only 5 miles wide and 7 miles long, takes 30 mins to get to one end of to the next!…. Experience stuff for yourselves in my opinion.
